Careful boys I got told off in another thread for mentioning the name I shan't mention here, by our esteemed but absent welcomer,

Do you know if he is planning on attending the IOM next year...

:coollep::coollep:  I hope so, we've already erected a statue of him. Any resemblance to Steve Hislop is purely coincidental.:leprechaun::leprechaun:

If Redwing is coming over next year, and he/they are very welcome too.

We may have to sponsor him on his Honda 50, or has he already set off, to be first here!!!

Then we would be The Welcomer, to the Welcomer and they would be Welcome all weekend.

It sounds to me like everyone is far too welcome! :cheeky1::cheeky1::cheeky1::cheeky1::cheeky1::cheeky1:

Don't you blokes have that (fake) banner, that Silverfox sent me, of the Cliffs of Dover?  You know- the one that says "Piss Off!  We're Full!" :dude:You surely must, at T/T time! :baffled:

:waving::waving: I'm sure we can find room for a little one. MBC always does his Karaoke after the Senior TT on the Friday. For some reason that's the time most people go home.:walker::walker::band::banana:

So, get your orders in or be disappointed.

Right then, from now on I am limiting myself to posting in this forum and when this event is over I shall gracefully bow out, sit on the sidelines or find another forum. SEE? is / has ruined this place for me. The way he is currently lambasting PapaJoe is disgraceful...

Lets get this event going, its going to be my first and last...

Dont go, I think we should club together and pay SEE??'s fare to the meet and greet, then we could show him how much we really appreciate his contribution to this great site.

I think if remember correctly that I tried to read one of SEE?:s posts and found it so poorly and strangly written that I to 90% jumps anything he posts. And he has definitly no sense for friendly banter.  But he is absolutly not worth leaving the forum for. After all he is from Texas, where ever that is??????:waving:

I myself don't read see's posts and I think he will fade away. He is not worth your trouble. I do like the idea of the plane fare to show him how much he is liked. He will only need a 1 way ticket. ;)

Well I had planned today to go ride one of the rideouts, but I cant find anywhere on my stead to fit the outboard motor which would be needed to navigate the waterways around here called roads :dude:

May be it will dry up enough later if not I'll do it next weekend...

Well it's time to announce the international DJ's name who will be in charge of playing all of the old and out of date records that we young wingers love to listen too.

The way this is envisaged as working is that we will have here a database of songs, we will have a web cam set up in the main area, maybe two, which will relay all of the activities to a web site the address of which will be advertised later. the international DJ will also have a web can streaming images to the same web site.
Users will be able to fill out a form making a request for music to be played which will be sent to the DJ, anyways that's enough of the technical boring crap.

The international DJ for the evening is :

TATTOO TAFFY

we all like a laugh and a joke tanny, but your not being funny now, taffy being the dj from the comforts of his own home, what a cheapskate, so just to make sure i dont have to listen to any rubbish that he's playing, i will of course be supplying my own entertainment,  one generater, a 5kw linear amplifier, the biggest antenna i can get on the trailer and my hf radio and if taffy dont play any charlie drake, benny hill, des o'conner, max bygrave and any others that ive got, i'll make sure taffy can hear it over there, and all of wales will have no tv or radio reception, i am of course joking:dude:  bring it on taffy

We that is tatty taffy and I have been racking our brains for months trying to come up with a title that will be approbriate for his international DJ'ing debut.

we have failed,

we are open to suggestions and unles there is an outstanding one I will place all of the suggestions into a hat on the night and get the prettiest lady attending to draw out a name.

so as to not laymyself open to critiscm of being biased, i have decided to let silverfox judge who is the prettiest lady, his eyesight is better than mine. and he can run faster ....

please keep the suggestions clean as there are several youngsters planning to be at the event, so there will be some modern music aswell.

my suggestion - "waltzing taffy"
