Man, we've been having quite a winter already! 15 degrees and the wind is howling right now. Maybe Mother Nature is getting it out of her system and we'll have an early spring?

I'll be posting more of what will be happening as the event comes closer.
I know of people come from as far east as NJ and as far west as AZ.

I almost missed that you started a new thread on this. I am still planning on coming your way this summer!
--------------------------------
P.S. On a different note, I told you before that I was originally from that area. A lady I work with is from Boscobel. Her father was a rancher and Veterinarian in the area for 53 years. He passed away on 12/29. Here is a bit of the obit. in case you knew of him.
Dr. Marion E. "Doc" Martin, 82, of McPherson, Kansas formerly of Argonia, Kansas, retired veterinarian, died Saturday, December 29, 2007 at Lakeside Home Plus in McPherson, Kansas with his wife and daughter at his side. Previously from Boscobel, Wisconsin he was most recently residing in McPherson.
Doc was born the son of Ellis James and Melda Dion (Shuster) Martin on Friday, July 31, 1925 in Argonia, Kansas.
On June 1, 1947, Marion and Virginia Bornholdt were united in marriage at Harper, Kansas. Together they celebrated over 60 years of marriage.
After returning to the U.S. he attended Kansas State University where he received his Veterinary Medicine Degree in 1953. He moved with his wife, Virginia, to Boscobel, Wisconsin where he worked as a Dairy Veterinarian and beef rancher for 53 years.
Doc was appointed by the Governor of Wisconsin to the Wisconsin Veterinary Examining Board for which he served for 12 years. He also represented Grant County in Wisconsin as a Commissioner for over 30 years including 28 years of the Chairman of the Social Services Committee and 4 years as Chairman of Finance Committee.

Friday night I'm thinking about running a walking poker run in down town Boscobel. Small towns are great...
No driving when drinking... Cruise and Hog Roast on Saturday... I'll be posting events soon.

So book your rooms early. (and remember Boscobel is a city of only 3,000 people so we don't have many motels. Next closest is about 10 miles away at the Fennimore Hills 608-822-3281)
Once again my back yard is free for those wanting to save some money and camp out.
Those wanting to arrive earlier are welcome, same with those wanting to stay longer (as long as it's not permanent LOL).

Sounds like a good time and looks like you have some great things planned. I'll look at my schedule for the summer and let you know if I can make it.

Yeah, it's a nice ride from here. I get to the northern part of the state a lot, but not the southeast portion. Nice roads to ride on, and it's still fairly rural.
