Ahhhh 60 today!
Of course I have the fuel tank out of the bike so I can't take a spin :P

That old groundhog might have seen his shadow but 10 day forecast looks promising here. Just a few weeks more (knocking on wood as I type it!) and 2 wheels will be humming again!

We have a storm coming in that is supposed to dump 5 to 9 inches of snow on us.

I'm gonna find that groundhog and gouge his friggin eyes out!

High temp today was 34... POS weather man 6-8 inches of that white crap should be here Tues night into Wed :P:P:P

White shit is headed  our way also.  5-6 inches tomorrow night!  I'm dreaming of a white Christmas crap was a month ago already!!  Arizona sounds better and better each year.  Digger, thanks for the noise warning, I will make sure I pack the ear plugs!  Won't be the first time I have needed them!!

We're hearing between 10-20 inches of snow tonight! Up to 40 MPH winds to make it even more fun.  I'm right near Lake Michigan, too, which means we're supposed to get hit the worst.

Yep.. You're gonna be right in the heart of it, according to the NWS.. I'm supposed to see 8-14" here between Rockford, IL and Madison, WI.. I'm riding my snowmobile to work tomorrow..

I guess I'll just take my Wing up to Mespock's party.. Bound to be melted by then..:cooldevil:

I know, riding season seems like a long time away when the weather's like this.  I rode my sled to work a few times when I still had them. I'm wishing I would have kept them this year!!!    Luckily, the wife's off tomorrow so I can take her 4X4 to work.

Has to be a great season for you this year.  Best snow in southern WI in years.

We got another 6 inches last night and today.

Paper do you do the WI Snowmobile Highway System.  You can travel the entire state via State Snowmobile Route Sytem.

How bad did you guys get hit in the western part of WI and Iowa near the border? I'm guessing we got about a foot of snow but it's so windy it's hard to tell. I just got home from work and roads were about the worst I've seen. Blowing snow, almost zero visibility and cars stuck and in the ditch everywhere!      I think I deserve a stiff Rum and Coke. :toast:

I typically ride the Wisconsin State funded club trails. I haven't wandered too far from home. I've done a couple 100 mile loops and a 200 mile loop one night, but for the most part I've kept it within 75 miles of home.

Currently I'm trailering 7 miles to a county park where I can park my truck and get on an IL trail that wanders up to Wisconsin.

Hey Mespock,

Hope you have some room left in your backyard as I am using the thought of your get-together as a crutch to get through this winter.  We are in a snow drought up here in North West Wisconsin, about 15" short of average snowfall for this time of year.   I'm not as tough as some here on the forum, as I refuse to ride when it's colder than 40 f.   I have to go out to my shop, crank up the woodstove, take the cover off the bike, climb up in the seat and make rmm rmm rmm noises and be happy with that:dude::dude:

I've got some fine Ron Zacapa 23 year old rum I'm willing to share if people promise not to mix Coke in it :cooldevil: :cooldevil:

Nothing better for when the bikes are parked and the b.s is about ready to kick into overdrive :cooldevil:  :cooldevil:

Don't worry my back yard is large for a in town yard.  I have about 3/4 of an acre of land and it's nicely secluded... for being in town ...

Oh and I love Rum....

Plans for the Hog Roast are possibly changing.

Hog Roast might become Prime Rib.. We are going to have the dinner after the cruise at the Boscobel Hotel. My son Joe will be our chef and can he cook...

I have discussed with the Hotel on booking a Blues Band for the night details still in the making (waiting for a reply).

I'll keep everyone posted as I find out more.
