I've already got my room reserved at the River Inn for Friday and Saturday night. Comes complete with a bed warmer and foot massager.:cheeky1: Only cost me $4300 an hour extra. I'm really looking forward to seeing all of you.

Digger, you twisted bastage, let me know if your better, much better, no way much better half is going to get Friday off and I might allow myself to cruise up Thursday and stay at the Heartland and then go on up to Bosco land with ya. I wish that we could take that trip back up the Iowegian side but we'll see what happens.

Hobie wan ......... out.

Sounds good!

I am wanting to go through Cassville at some point, would it just be better to bring in that route and skip Dubuque? I believe we'd have to take a ferry ride but I think I could talk Flyone into it.  ;)
If it's to much extra riding I can make a trip through on my own sometime over the weekend.

Just trying to save some out of the way time for going through Cassville.

I like Dubuque it's such a scenic city! May have to make a stop at the dog track on the way through!

Flyone,

I agree with digger (as dangerous as that can be) I-80 is a bad stretch.  I live by Altoona which is just east of Des Moines on I-80.  Truckers on it continuously.

I am going to motel it also.  Maybe we could hook up when you get up here.  I am thiinking of leaving Friday AM.

I don't think you'd lose too much time heading to Dubuque then going to the ferry...

Notice I didn't say head to Dubuque and pick up the Fairy...:cooldevil:

After driving from Kansas you'd add maybe 30 miles..

:bat:DANGER WILL ROBINSON, DANGER!!!!:bat:

To everyone, as of March 25, The River Inn is booked and The Sands Motel has only about 10 rooms left due to a wedding. (Mespock, you were right!)

Ty, I booked a room not knowing if you wanted to split a room or wanted your own so at least we have somewhere to sleep!

I don't know if Digger or if anyone else is camping or what but you need to call REAL SOON if you want a motel room as this wedding is taking all the rooms up! :stumped:

Tim we would love to meet up with you on the ride! As far as the route and time, I'm leaving that up to Tybme as I have not been in that area at all. All I have ever done in Wisconsin is fly to Appleton and drive over to Oshkosh for AirVenture. Which I will be doing again this year. :gunhead:

Well Tybme and I had a phone conversation today and we are planning to leave Topeka area on Friday morning so Digger, Tim and everyone else who wants to be seen with us Kansas boys and worse even ride with us , here is the preliminary plan to this point.

We should be up in Iowa by mid morning on Friday. Tybme is taking care of the route, I'm just going to spend the night at Ty's place (Thanks Ty!) so that we can get a fresh start Friday morning to head to "Wes con son"!

I know we have got time before the event but this gives all of us time to discuss meeting up and heading up in that direction. You know what they say..........the more, the merrier!!

Tybme and I are really looking forward to the beach party!!!

Hey I wouldn't lead you bad... after the Sands the next best and closest are in Fennimore, Wisconsin.  About 10 miles away...

My back yard is open for camping.  Only a small patch of snow left so we are in good luck... With the rain today it should be gone until it snows in April.:cooldevil:

Fennimore Hills is a very nice place and rate are pretty good.  I'll try to remember tomorrow to call and block some rooms there.

Remember this thought.  Do not I mean Do not book a room at the Huble's Motel on Hwy 60... you will be sorry.  They will screw you at check out!!!
