Beach Party Update:
The Blues Band that I have been hunting down for Saturday night looks like a go. The leader of the ban was excited to come back to Boscobel to play. 5 member band and very very good.
We are still discussing where it will be a complete hog roast or ribs for Saturday night. The owners of the Hotel and Joe are working on what the want to do for the dinner yet. They feel the big Hog Roaster going while the Blues are Playing in the courtyard would be fun.
For those who do not like pork there is a menu you can order from.

Hey everybody, something just occured to me. What would that be you say. Well, the one thing I haven't seen mentioned is any donations to Mespock to help defray his expenses. Band, food, and other things come to mind.
Just a thought that we can work with over the next couple of months.

I thought the same thing. Lots of time, planning etc. on his part plus hosting the whole thing.
Some sort of contribution for the event sounds like a fair idea.

OK guys now...
Hey, Just to let everyone know there is no obligations to anyone except to have fun.
The Segways will cost some. I'm having some troubles getting a hold of the guy. I'll have plentyof time though before the meet to take care of that. I'm working on getting 3 of these things. Cost is $45 per hour. Because the guy is trying to get these going around the area I'm trying to get 3 for the price of two. We would be his advertisement.
So if anyone wants to throw in for these that's fine. Maybe we could get more than 3. Guy told me that in one hour a group about our size could have a good time. Also I'm thinking that if we want to have them for longer then we just toss him a few more bucks.
I'm not sure how this deal will work or how much fun we'll have with them. But I'm hoping to have pics of the local Barney Fiffe to be casing someone down main street.. LOL...

OK.. here is the one major task I need an it's mainly for the wives coming. My wife, Heather, is not real big into the Goldwing or bike thing.
First day we met I was on a Goldwing. She told me she never wanted to date any biker guy or someone who would wear cowboy boots. (At the time I have a few pairs of cowboy boots).
But she liked the ride we took. In our courtship we would go on sundays for the quest for the best bar burger. Then the motorcylce riding stopped. She never wanted to go on a long distance ride.
Last Summer the once cruise she went on was the first time she was on the wing for at least 5 years or more.
Now, Heather does like my LvC (Lincoln Friends and their wives) but doesn't like going to the events that we have so she doesn't get into that hobby of mine.
I'd Love for her to start wanting to go on Sunday rides again or getting excited to go to the cruises like we had last summer.
So lets get her excited!!! In the right way guys.. LOL... To want to go on our weekend cruises. Or even want to go other meets.
