Could not agree with you more on that. However, I did ask my wife if she would move to Kansas and the answer was, " have you lost your friggin mind? So I guess that is out for now. Next idea I like. We have three districts and we move it each year to whatever district wants it. Where the district decides to hold it is their choice. As you can see we already have several people that are willing to come big miles to the first one. I for one will ride big miles to the next one.
I've got a peachy keen idea too. I will find some nice item and we'll have a 50/50 raffle. The winner of course gets half and the longest distance rider gets the other half to help pay for his trip. Wow, I'm brilliant.

OK, here we go
I studied all the weather patterns, even talked with one of my meteor guys and we have come to an agreement of, when the best percentage of good weather is that anyone coming from all directions will have the best chance of having a nice trip. DRUM ROLL PLEASE I give you two sets of dates to choose from.
Sept 25th to 28th
or
Oct 2nd to 5th
The 25th and the 2nd are Thursdays for arrival days from then on. Anyone wishing to arrive a day early or stay a day or two later is more than welcome. You won't run out of things to do I can assure you.
If anyone has already been working on their own gathering on those dates, please let me know ASAP and I'll see what I can change. Meanwhile, everyone let me know what you think.
PS> Mister Axeman can we get a sticky on this? Please

Just Kidding! But I do have to say that the ride here in Kansas is not just a job, it's an adventure!! But those sleek looking headlights help cut through the wind!!

Cyote, got the dates marked on the calendar - A "late summer" ride is a great idea, gives me the whole summer to troubleshoot...

Just caught on to this thread - all sounds like good ideas to me.
For a Kansas location I might be able to suggest one - the Lake Perry area. Not far from Topeka, KS and they have camp grounds that can be utilized. Just for future reference.

Don't get too far into October cause we don't wanna compete with SERRASJ-4
Unless you guys would rather forgo it for this, this time.

We'll never forgo the SERRASJ! We might just make one part of it a stop at Cyotes.

Yes, I thought about that. I remember the highway closing through Wyoming the day after we went through there when moving here in early October.
Bad part is you don't wanna be here between June 15 and Sept 15.

Ok, lets just plan the Spring SERRASJ-3 ride and meetup and decide how we want to handle the 'Binge at the Ok Corral' in Sept at that time.
Central AL > Southern AL > Fla Panhandle loop still good with youy SERRASJ guys for the spring stump jump portion or would you rather rethink that?
