We just went ahead and booked at the Country Inn, having decided to join the fun.
My missus may not be able to make it, but by the time we know for sure it'll be too late, so I'm coming anyway.

I am re-posting this due to a re-negotiated group rate......Greg
The Country Inn in Calhoun has offered us a group rate of $73.00 per night. It looks like a nice place with indoor pool and continental breakfast included. (edited on Feb.6/08 due to group rate re-negotiated down to #73.00 per night). Group rate does not include applicable taxes of course.
The name of the lady I've been dealing with at the Country Inn is Regina.
10 of us have already booked our rooms and as long as we book a minimum of 10 for the group we get the $73.00 rate.
NOTE: To get the group rate you MUST phone the Country Inn at 706-625-6500. Make sure you tell them you're with the Goldwing Group.
