They're both the same service...left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing...or they're clueless.
Weather update for tomorrow 4-25....might rain, might not...maybe cloudy, maybe sunny. Temps between 30-59, maybe.

I just talked with Flyone and here is the plan for those leaving Wichita.
I will meet everyone that wants too in the K-Mart parking lot at 47th and Broadway. We need to leave the parking lot and hit the road no later than 8AM. We will go East on 47th street and pick up the turnpike. We will head North towards Emporia. Flyone will be waiting along the road at the Andover exit and will join in with us as we go by.
As I said, we will leave the parking lot at 47th and Broadway at 8AM. If you wish to join us along the way, feel free to do so. Just estimate the time from the Wichita South exit and be along the road and join us.
Hope to see as many of you fine folks (and I use them words very loosely) in the morning for some good food, conversation and riding.
We are getting the hell pounded out of us right now with rain and wind so I hope everything clears up by morning.
Ride safe and see ya there.

My TV is arguing with my PC about the weather...on the same channel. At least they both say no rain...
Wife says she's in & we'll be heading out around 0800, if the driveway isn't wet.
Spoke to Cloud9 & we're meeting near Topeka for the ride to Emporia.

Well, the weather is calling for 70-75% chance of rain and temps around 40 in the early AM here.
I can handle the 40 degrees, but if it's raining I will be wimping out.
If I don't see everyone tomorrow, hope you have a good time.

Ok I just got home - rode about 50 miles in the rain wasn't too bad until about the last 10 miles Hopefully my gear will be dried out by morning.
I am planning on leaving Valley Falls at about 7:45 am (call me before then if you are gonna make it John) that will put me at hwy24 and k4 hwy at about 8:10am I'm hoping to catch Popeye then. (I'll give you a call in the morning Craig) It looks like the rain should be clear by 8am which should allow us northerners to be in Emporia by 9:30. I will delay if the rain is still in the area and make it to Emporia by 10:30.
Hope see you all in Emporia in the morning.
Be safe.
Ty

Check weather link above, we're good. 20% rain after midnight...0% after 6 a.m.
If you ride fast enough, your gear will be quite dry before US-24

This is why I love the internet. If you don't like the info you find, just keep looking. Sooner or later, someone will tell you what you want to hear!

It's just starting to rain here. With luck, it will pass over during the night.

Sure sure Popeye, it just "happened"
Well you might notice I'm posting this at 8:30am - I should be on my way through Topeka with Popeye and Cloud9 right now. Unfortunately when I started my girl up this morning she decided she wanted some more rest. She popped a bit while warming up which while odd I was ready to chalk up to being cold. I was doing a quick pre-ride inspection and I noticed moisture on the right side. I took a quick look and found the weep hole was spitting fuel on the fuel pump.
I made some quick calls to let people know I wouldn't be there. Bill suggested I hop in the car and join everyone for breakfast. I would have, but I let me daughter take the car to spend the night at a friends and I can't seem to get her to wake up to her cell this morning.
I have already sent a couple emails about acquiring a replacement (it appears you can't rebuild these pumps) but dammit I was looking forward to today!
I should have her up and running to make our trip in May and I was hoping to head to Cassoday with some friends next Saturday.
I hope you all had a very nice ride, I'll be crying on and off the rest of the day.
Ty
