Aww Rick, If I'd done that,  I wouldn't make it back in time to ride with all my fellow Kansans on Sunday! :gunhead:

Besides the traffic down here is scarey enough in a rental cage!!

Well after all the PM's............we are having another un-official KANWINGS ride on Sunday, April 13.

To Beaumont, KS

Meeting place: Phillips 66

US 54/Kellogg and Andover Road (Andover, KS)

Meeting Time: 10:00 am

This is to take into account that folks are coming from Topeka and Tulsa area (Take I-35 south from Topeka or North from Tulsa and exit on K-96 heading towards Augusta, continue East merging onto US 54/Kellogg to the next major intersection which is Andover Road) and look to the right at the bikes gathering at the gas station.

Here is the weather forecast for the area:

Sunday, Apr 13

High: 61 °F RealFeel®: 57 °F
Mostly sunny

Sunday Night, Apr 13

Low: 40 °F RealFeel®: 32 °F
Clear
The plan is to ride to Beaumont, KS (40-45 miles), have brunch or lunch, (depends on what or when the group wants to eat) then ride a few hours after the meal and break up when you need to get back home.

We would love to have as many that can make it. This is a pre-KANWINGS ride, to meet each other, break bread together, discuss the official KANWINGS future rides and starting points and most importantly have fun!!

So far there is 8-12 Wings and other motorcycles that are currently planning to come so this should be a lot of fun!

I will be PMing everyone to let them know about the ride.

My schedule just called.  She said after draggin' her around all day in the Hurricane last Saturday & to Cassoday last Sunday.....we ain't leavin' here with temps in the low 30s.

Hope it warms up some, I really love those motorcycle breakfast buffets [$8.]? at the Beaumont Inn.  Second Sunday of every month.

Schedules are wonderful when it comes to keeping you guys in line.  Looking forward to meeting new friends on Sunday.

Flyone, was thinking about you out on the golf course in Balmy Florida while I was watching the rain come down outside my office window this afternoon.

Got you're PM Popeye, Maybe it will warm up and you can come! That's why we choose 10:00 am so maybe you wouldn't have to get up so early and it be too cold!

Call me if your plans change!

I am kinda glad I no longer have a "schedule". :cheeky1:

I WILL be there for this ride.  Talked with Candace last night and she said that it looked like she would be able to borrow a bike and make it too.
