Looks like Rodger had the round biscuits.  I think that the square ones are a little bigger than the round ones.

I remember the first time I went in there and the waitress asked if I wanted round or square and I told her that it didn't matter what shape they were, they were gonna be chewed up biscuits real quick.

Sounds like it was a good time!

Ok Flyone I got the hint  - If you don't have anything going on Sunday (27th) I'm thinking Emporia truck stop for breakfast again. Depending on what you want to do I found a pretty nice route up into Topeka (K99 to K4 )

And to catch me up on the age factor - 37 but I don't act a day over 12 I promise!:cheeky1:

Good try on the biscuits Rodger!  I couldn't have come close!  I got the charging system on my 76 working today, so can maybe catch one of the upcoming rides.  I still won't be able to make the 10th of May, but maybe can catch one before or later.  It would be nice to see you guys again.  I'm also going to try to make the midwest meet and greet, but is iffy right now.

Hey Ty, that sounds good..............I've got to check with my schedule (Mrs. Flyone) to see what's going on as I will have been out of town for a week by then in Washington, DC. Sooner or later the family is going to forget what I look like! :baffled:

I did talk to Patch tonight and he said :cooler: but he wasn't hard to get aboard!

Anybody Else interested in meeting Tybme in Emporia????? Trust me, Patch and I have met him and he's a great guy and IT IS north of Wichita!!! :smiler:

Larry C, Glad to hear the charging system is fixed and I hope you make all the rides you can including the Midwest MNG in Eureka Springs on Labor Day! :cooldevil:

Patch told me the times and with so much going on here in Washington, DC......I have already forgot!

I believe he said that we would leave Wichita around 8 am, ride up to Emporia (about an hour and a half), have breakfast with Ty, then do some riding around with him and then return to Wichita.

I need to be back in Andover by 4 pm and Patch's plan seemed to fit perfectly. :action:

Patch, Can you give your detailed plan??? :baffled:

Well wait a minute here, steaks sound great what time? :cooldevil:

I'm just playing, sorry you can't make it but :birthday:  to your boy.
Ahhhhh to be 23 again...

I'm thinking 9:30ish at the Flying J truck stop in Emporia, KS. Here is the quick on it's location: I-35 & US 50 Exit 127 Phone: (620) 343-2717

Standard Flying J with a Country Market for some breakfast and coffee. Head out around Emporia. I'll do some searching on any recommended roads in the area or if someone knows the area well please speak up!

I'm hoping the weather is better there Sunday than it is today. I had to abandon the bike at work tonight and catch a ride home. :whinger:

Hope to see you there Patch and Flyone and with a little good weather meet many more of you!

Sure thing there flyone!

My plan was to leave Wichita at 8am, arrive at Emporia around 9:30 and have breakfast.  Breakfast should be done by 10:30 and then we could engage in a couple hours of riding.  Finish up with riding by 12:30 to 1:00 and head back for Wichita.  Arrive back in Wichita aroung 2:30.
