Well I tell you what Flyone, how about I give you and everyone else a chance to come whip up on me.

I would like to offer my house as the meeting place for the northern and southern riders before the actual trip. Instead of meeting in Meriden I thought we could all meet at my house (Valley Falls). Before any of you accuse me of just wanting to sleep in on Sunday, I thought I'd make up some burgers, brats and dogs. We can have lunch before we head out on the ride.
I live about 15 minutes north of Meriden so we could leave the meeting time the same (11:30) eat and take off on the ride from there.
We have a gas station in town so fuel won't be a problem.

What does everyone think?

Ty

Well I have a few questions Ty....................

1. Are you going to have the Law there to arrest me for threats of my 11 year old wooping up on you? (Because you know I wouldn't do it!:?)

2. Is your wife going to take one look at me and throw me out?? (Cause I could be scared of her!!)

3. Are you going to freak out when us 1800's show up with the ugly headlights?? :gunhead:

If you answer no to all of these............Then I'm in!!!! :cooldevil:

Thank you for the generous offer and I won't promise to leave your house and family terrorized when we leave!! :cheeky1::cheeky1::cheeky1:

What does everyone else think?????? :baffled:

Ty;

I have no need for Meriden...but how much you plannin' on charging us fer them burgers, brats, etc.  Sounds good, it would only be 15 mins more up the road.  We're 6 miles S. of Meriden just off K4....anything you want us to bring?

The gas station in Valley Falls [next one up K4] is just as good as Meriden and an easy place to meet.

rcmatt007;  I saw Picher, OK & didn't realize we had any members that close....doubt anyone will build there again.

We're going to have a Valk along?...isn't that just a Wing with a dozen carbs?   :)

Well since no one said "Hell No!" I'll assume it works for everyone.
Here are directions to my house from both the north and the south.
The address is 1600 Willow St. Valley Falls KS 66088

From the north:
South on K4 hwy to K16 hwy
Turn West (right) on K16 hwy
Turn South (left) on Linn St. (Linn St. is at the bottom of a hill just past a blinking yellow light)
Turn West (right) on 16th St.
Staying straight on this street bring you right into my front driveway.

From the south:
North on K4 hwy to Bluemound Rd.
Turn North (left) on Bluemound Rd.
Turn East (right) on 19th St.
Turn North (left) on Willow St.
Follow Willow St. to 16th St. (stop sign) My house is directly on the left at the stop sign.

Popeye has offered to meet up with the southern riders at Meriden and lead you in. If you would like him to I recommend you PM him.

I have included a picture of Valley Falls for you to look over.
Feel free to PM me for a phone number if you would like it. You can also email me at tybme@yahoo.com for additional info.

Popeye has volunteered to give me $10000.00 to cover food expenses so you all wouldn't have to worry about the cost. Nice guy that Popeye, suppose I should include some spinach on the menu.

Oh by the way if you are familiar with google maps, street view - Valley Falls is one of the covered areas (I have no idea how or why but it is)
You can see a picture of my house if you'd like to check it out. If you aren't familiar with it check it out sometime - it's pretty cool.

Ty, Many thanks again for the offer! :clapper: We promise to behave and I will talk to bill's girl about not throwing food! :cheeky1::cheeky1::cheeky1:

Popeye, it is strictly up to you if you want to lead us in from Meridan, Topeka, or wherever.......so the same offer is still valid for any of the "Northern Riders" if they want to travel South to meet up with and ride to Valley Falls with "Southern Riders" to get more seat time.

I will be leading the Southern Riders up and will probably stop at the rest area on the turnpike north of Emporia for a bathroon and stretch break. You are invited to meet us there if you would like and ride in. :baffled:

I know Ty would not ever say anything so I will..................I think we should donate some cash his way to cover the expenses of the food. I will leave the amount up to whatever you can do.

I will need to give a head count to Tybme so he knows how many grocery stores to rob before we get there so kindly post how many is in your party that will be coming!

Flyone and Keri = 2
