| Welcome to the group, don't feel lonely, the only time we seem to be able to join the group is on Sundays. Hope we get to meet soon

That wasn't no rain storm!
Welcome big ugly! Keep an eye right here on this thread as this is where we post most of our ride info. We try and get together as often as possible for rides and or food. We are very informal. Ride with us when you can. Most of our rides do happen on Sunday because that is what seems to work best for the group so you are welcome to join us at any time.

I have the same prob Cloud9...got the bike apart for maint & plan to head-out Wed for the Rockies....but TODAY is beautiful....ouch.
big ugly; WELCOME! PM me sometime, when we get back, & we'll hook-up for some riding...we're by US-24 & K4 & we have members right here in the NE corner of KS.
I'll have most Sundays & Mondays free until Sept 01 or so, then it's back to Sat/Sun.
Sure wonder what 'big ugly' refers to, but will let someone else ask . Ask Cloud9 about the 'Wild Rhinos' at your own risk.

Yes sir he did. I will let him post his grand total for milage.
Myself, whbondjr and bills girl rode out to Fort Scott to meet Flyone and Cyote61 for lunch. Cloud9 and RSweet15 came down in their cage and met up with us also. Had a great time over lunch. Cloud9 and RSweet15 headed back home and the rest of us headed off to escort Flyone back home.
I ended up with 356.8 miles on the clock for today. Nice ride everyone!

Final post from the trip!!!
3,152 miles for the total trip which included KS, MO, IL, IN, KY, TN, NC. SC, GA and return with Cyote61 through GA, TN, KY and MO through US60 crossing the Ohio and Mississippi River. The Mississippi River was roaring!! (939 miles from Cyote61's door to Flyone's door).
Had a great trip with no rain!!! It was wonderful to see Patch, Cloud 9, RSweet, whbondjr, and Bill's Girl who met us in Fort Scott, KS for lunch and then rode back to Andover where no one will have to rock Cyote61 and myself to sleep tonight!
Thanks to the KANWINGS family for coming to meet us and ride home with us..............Tom and I will never forget this trip.
You folks are the greatest! Makes me feel proud to be part of this forum and our special group!!
Thanks again for everything!
Bill

Big Ugly, Welcome to the group!! You will not find a better group of folks who will travel across the state to meet you to ride back into Kansas together for just one example!
They are a great group even if I have to say so myself!!

Thanks again to everyone...........I gave the trip a number just so we can keep track of how many rides we do in a year as a group.
Trip to Ft. Scott was KANWINGS 1.10
So that means we have done 11 trips this year to this point. Not bad for forming this crazy group in May of this year!

Glad to see you make it back safe and sound. Sounds like it was a heck of a good time!

Flyone;
You're prob the only person in the U.S. that didn't get wet during those dozen days. Dumb, but good luck, there.
It was good to follow your journey & share-the-ride, vicariously, through your pics.
Glad you had good weather & made it back safe .

Thats the same seat I got Sharon a couple years ago....she LOVES that thing!! I'd like to get a black sheepskin as I'm short on rear padding....my well padded front just doesn't help.
