Look out Wichita:

A major snow storm will impact southern
portions of the service territory on Friday
into Friday night. The exact track of the storm
system is still uncertain, however,
accumulating snowfall will occur across
southern Kansas with up to 6 inches
possible. Locally higher amounts will be
possible closer to the Oklahoma Border. Strong
northwesterly winds will combine with the
snow to create blizzard conditions through
Friday night.

Ah but how will you southern riders break up the territory? Rhinos have been known to battle for territory. :D

Thanks tybme, No sense askin' anyone since you are the undisputed master of the BBQ.  But, I get to pay for the meat & provide all the side dishes.

Flyone, is that the Gage Bowl on US-24?  5 miles from my house? & almost across the street from the mini storage??

Cloud 9, thanks.  We won't need any appliance dollies, at least not for appliances.  I'm only packing our 'extra' stuff [half the house] into many lightweight boxes.

Mr Duck,  I saw that crack about the trailer auction, bring your truck.

All is going to the Mini-Storage 4 miles away.  No straining or sweating involved ... I'm making it as easy as possible.

The actual move [heavy work] will be done by a Moving Company.

I'm still trying to borrow a big ramp truck so as many can ride their bikes as possible.  However, I'm giving away a 1 HP air compressor, 10 HP Generac Generator [unused], lumber, etc. + will sell my '84 Shadow 500 to any Rhino for best offer, so a truck may be handy.

Wanna doubt THAT ?  KANWINGERS with guns?  On rides, [ex-cops, feds, e/one else?  :?  Maybe someone is in the dark .... :cheeky1:  we're covered.  Too funny. :)

Hey!!  I got the big truck w/ ramp reserved = one trip for Sat 4/11.

tybme is doing his BBQ thing ... we all know what that means.   Eat REALLY good, ride bike, easy day with good times.  I got a covered truck to load/unload, easy, then, eat real well with fixings & visit.

Ought to be an excellent riding day + meal.  Yeah, toss boxes & stuff in/out of truck ,once + fun.  Lots of time to take scenic ride home with full belly.

This will be a good one. :clapper:

plainmech, ain't movin' yet. Just clearing house to bare necessities to sell.

Weather shows 100% snow on Fri/Sat in Wichita.  I don't do that anymore.

Why do I 'know' a herd of Rhinos will still show up? :?

What a bunch of insane mammals!! I usually bring up the rear [CB] & could write a book on what I've seen.  Lead Rhino is wearin' a thong on his head, another is goin' over a blind hill in the Ozarks & tossin' hands in air like its a roller coaster ... another complainin' about cheap jeans not holding up on peg-scrapin' curves, another is sippin' on his Butler mug on a 80* curve, I hear my wife chuckle a bit on the intercom... then she falls asleep in the middle of this circus on wheels, etc., etc.

Good luck to Llano, you'll need it!! :cheeky1:

I am sitting here in the motel room in Spokane, WA. just yearning for the time to leave for Llano, even if I am traveling alone.  Traveling home tomorrow and start preparing to leave for Llano.:clapper::clapper:
