Crystal and I had an absolute blast! We can't wait to come back and abuse everyone's hospitality again.:clapper:

The trip was true Kansas weather, completely unpredictable:?

Popeye I hope the problems end up being an easy fix. I was really glad she made it home for you, having Sharon on the the back and you on the handlebars of my bike in that rain would have been a bit unsafe.:cheeky1:

Mark and Rhonda it was an absolute thrill to meet you and get spend time with you over not one but two weekends! Have a safe slow ride home and call us from that beach and tell us how great it feels to walk barefoot in the sand.

Thank you again to all of our KANWING friends. Days like these are some of the best reasons to ride.

With friends like y'all, a person couldn't wish for more.  Thanks for making it a great weekend and everyone's welcome anytime.

Unkle Mark and Rhonda, It was really great meeting you.  I hope you made it to OKC without getting to wet and that the rest of your trip is a safe one.

Sounds like a blast! I have run into a bit of bad luck; first Lucille's charging system failed and then I pulled major lower back muscles and was out 6 weeks. I am now ready to ride and look forward to joining the group!

You have inspired Diane and I; we are now talking about next spring trip through Colorado - I grew up a native Coloradan... We took a run down to Anthony for the smoke house cafe lunch, my back and Lucille did great. In addition, we had our maiden voyage with the mottocom intercom - it was fantastic!

I AM READY FOR A KANWING RIDE!

I have to agree with everyone that Friday night was awsome.  I have never laughed so much and had such a good time.

Even though I was very tired I still had a blast.  I got up at 4:30 Friday morning, worked all day and then to karaoke that night.  Went for B&G's after karaoke and did not get home until 4:20 Saturday morning.  Took a shower, changed clothes and headed out to be at work at 6am.  Worked Saturday until 1pm and then went on the ride to Kingman with the Kanwingers.  I finally got to bed about 10:30 Saturday night.

We will all have to get together and do this again real soon.  You all know where we are on a Friday night.  Feel free to stop in any time.  We enjoyed having you.

Well I went and picked up my trailer from the paint shop today....

It sure beats a white and gray trailer clashing with an illusion red bike!!

This could be long but I have a lot to say, sorry.:(

We really don't have the words to describe this past friday and saturday. The hospitality and kindness from people you have never met before in my opinion, is unheard of these days. To open your house to complete strangers (Bill and Renee') we can't thank you enough. (the biscuits and gravy rocked:D)

The karaoke was awesome, yes I was skeered :whinger: but I promise I wont be skeered next time.:cheeky1:

The kanwingers we met friday, Bill and Debbie, Ty and Crystal, Craig and Sharon, Bill and Renee, Patch and Cloud9 along with Yldcat saturday. (I hope I haven't left anyone out) we will always consider you as close friends. We will also try and stay in touch.

Please let us know of any upcoming events you might plan in our neck of the woods, like the dragon and we will do our best to make it. Also, if any of you are heading to our vicinity (WV,KY,Pa,MD,VA) and would need anything flyone or ty have my number.

Oh, by the way I have already looked up a half-way point we can meet at, Evansville IN. just a short 8 hr. ride for dinner:cheeky1::cheeky1::cheeky1:

Another thing, I would like to go ahead and give notice, within the next 3 to 5 yrs. plan to take 2 weeks for a trip. The route to be determined later.

Now for an update on our trip so far. We are now in Russellville, AR. The trip from Oklahoma city was nice. We are heading as some of you know, to Memphis, Birmingham to surprise my sister, maybe Nashville or over to the Dragon. Not sure yet. We will keep you all informed and pictures will be posted when we get home.

So for now ride safe and God bless.

"Unkle" Mark & Rhonda

Glad the trip is going better as you two have had enough crap for one trip!:gunhead:

Ride safe and post when you can to let us know where you are and how everything is going.

As far as the Dragon............Come on down to NASSIR in Calhoun, Ga and ride the Dragon with Cloud 9, Tybme, Patch and yours truely! I'll be leading the ride during this big event! :)

Talk to you two "swingers" soon!:grinner:

Mark and Rhonda don't you DARE become strangers. We will hunt you down!
Once a Wild Rhino always a Wild Rhino!

I'm afraid watching you all Saturday in the rain has made me rethink my biking decision - I'm seriously considering Beaver Bills (Crystals new name for him :cheeky1:) 1996 1500.
