based on another joke... all I can recall is when I went from girlfriend 5.1 to wife 1.0 the whipes, leathers and chains seemd to dissappear!
Have three questions/answers..................
1. Popeye, it would be KANWINGS 2.2
2. rcmatt007, I am so glad everything went well today, I had bill's girl post your good news on the KANWINGS Get together thread for me as I was in Minneopolis and my Blackberry for some reason would let me post to threads. (I think Ty had something to do with that!)
3. Why are you guys splitting threads, isn't this one the discussion on KANWINGS 3 ride to the Ozarks??? I can't keep up on different threads on the same topics! Could we go back to the KANWINGS Get together thread for the upcoming ride to Cassody???
Oh by the way.........I'm Baaaack!!!! Missed me didn't ya'??
Trying to keep up with the ride count, according to Post 327 on Kanwings get together, Karaoke night was ride 2.10. If Kingman is considered another ride? If it is that would be 2.11, Boscobal would then be 2.12, so Emporia last sunday should be 2.13. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong
Karaoke night was KANWINGS 2
Kingman was KANWINGS 2.1
Boscobel was KANWINGS 2.2
Emporia was KANWINGS 2.3
so,
Cassoday would be KANWINGS 2.4
Now, someone correct me if I am wrong.

Patch, you're a master with the numbers. I guess I was having too much fun and forgot we made karaoke night a major ride. Have a great day everyone.

If the overnight trips are a new number (Karaoke is a 2.0) then wouldn't Boscobel be 3?

Now you went & confused Popeye...not a difficult task, but you did it.
Flyone wrote about Cassoday... "Popeye, it would be KANWINGS 2.2" 2.2 = 4 rides this year?? but, Karaoke was 2.10 = 12 rides?
I thought the KANWINGS numbering system was to allow us to see how many rides we have done at any given time, showing Major group or Minor group.
Major rides on left of decimal with the Minor rides on right of decimal......add them together for TOTAL KANWINGS rides.
Karaoke nite was Kanwings 2.10 = 2 major events + 10 minor rides = 12 rides Total.
Kingman was 2.11, Boscobel was 2.12, Emporia last sunday was 2.13, so Cassoday makes Kanwings 2.14 = 16 rides this year [2 major events + 14 minor events] & Popeye counted right?
If we do a Major event, like Eureka Springs, Ozarks...[after Cassoday] then it would be Kanwings 3.14 = 17 rides.

Popeye, I agree with you. The only change I would make is Boscobel being a major overnight event (actually two nights on the road)
So here we go.............
Boscobel is 3.11, (because when you add this as a major, you can't add a decimal becuse then it would count as two rides)
Emporia is 3.12,
Cassody will be 3.13 which is equal to 16 rides.
Man, I've slept since we put together this numbering system, but we want to know how many rides we do in a year.

Its nice to know the numbers, but what is even greater is that I've gotten to ride more, made lots of new friends and had some great times--with more to come-- so far this year

I agree with you Renee! The great part of this is the new friendships that have made and we get to ride!!!!
I know the numbering system is a real pain but a lot of the members want to know how many rides we do in a year including me!

Flyone; Welcome back, we missed you & talked behind your back. It was ugly, but glad you're back.
Last Sunday we had 12 folks & a bunch of bikes, it was GREAT!
This Sunday/Cassoday makes our 16th KANWINGS ride...so far .
How many Bikes &/or members are required to list as a Major/Minor event? Criteria, man.
We are doing quite well, many rides & it's only July !! Plus a bunch of unofficial rides.
This is the best bunch of folks I've ever met
[Flyone, I had to redo this....you had it done by the time I posted it...I had to delete most all of it..are you that fast or do I type that slow]

Cassoday will be KANWINGS v3.13 = 16....cool.
Me & Olive will be out of there by noon, though, to try to get home before it hits 100*. We plan to be back in the A/C with a cold pop in each hand by 1:30.
Riding in 'brain-frying' triple digits is just no fun....for us, anyway.

By the way, I am officially out for KANWINGS 3.13 (Cassoday) as I will be leaving on vacation with the family that day for Colorado (without the Wing)
