Snorey, don't worry.........Tom (Cyote61) and I are planning more than one ride to The Dragon during NASSIR. :cooldevil:

rcmatt07 and I have also been talking and we may depending on the size, split this up into two groups as well...........

We want this to be safe and enjoyable ride! :dude:

Unless I am missing something the wife pointed out that Sept. 24th is a Wednesday not a Friday.  So my question is, are we talking about Friday the 26th?

We won't be in until late in the day Friday, hoping for another Dragon run as we aren't likely to make Fridays. Either way, looking forward to meeting folks in Calhoun!

I also won't be there, until early afternoon on Friday- I'll be picking up some as yet to be determined rental bike on Friday morning in Atlanta.  After the Welsh M&G, I'm pretty sure my boss would fire me, if I took unpaid leave for the 1-1/2 to 2 weeks to ride there, and back....

Bummer.....I do miss those long-haul cross-country rides!

Saturday or Sunday, for "ride #2" would be ideal, for me, and yes, smaller groups are probably best, anyway, on that piece of road? :dude:

Thanks so much, to everyone involved, for all your hard work! :waving:

Damn...that's classic, a double-post....

Well, I guess I'll just have to show up TWICE, then? :cheeky1::cheeky1::cheeky1::cheeky1::cheeky1::cheeky1:

BTW- I keep encouraging John (JLUVS2DIVE) to show up; if he can, he will have the same problem- Saturday/Sunday is good, Friday is not good.....

there may well be some folks who go there on saturday or sunday.... I think the orginal concern was that the weekends get all the idiots out there who may very well run you off the road

We won't have the time to go. We will be in Calhoun Friday afternoon and leaving Saturday afternoon.  Part of the deal to get the Mrs. to ride with me is to take her to Harrah's in Cherokee on Saturday night.

That's ok...because the weekend is not the time I want to be on the Dragon. It is a "must ride" if you've never seen it...but another time.

My mistake.  For some reason, I thought it was on Saturday. We still won't be there till Friday afternoon though. Hope you all have a safe ride.
