Howdy, yes, there are 3 in Port Orchard, it's a small town of around 10,000.  The nicest one is a Comfort Inn right on the water in downtown.  There is also a Days Inn right off the freeway.  The third one I'm not sure I would recommend, based on some reviews I saw.  It's the Vista Motel.  There is another one that is close, actually the closest one to my house, that has a Gig Harbor address.  The Westwynd motel.  It's kind of a charming country style motel.  I've not stayed there, but their website makes their rooms look pretty decent.  I can go check them out if you're interested.

Days Inn - Port Orchard
Vista Motel - Port Orchard
Westwynd Motel - Gig Harbor/Purdy

John, if I make a reservation, I vote for the Westwynd...

The site shows some pretty nice rooms and baths, and the rates are reasonable!

To everyone interested...click on John's link for it, above...the pet policy alone (if you are a pet lover, as I am) is hysterical, and worth the visit to the site! :waving:

Lol, not a Ciaran's prices. :D

The state park I mentioned for camping is Manchester state park.  It is a very pretty park on the water.  The main road that goes by it is my favorite ride when I only have an hour or two.
Manchester State Park

We had talked about keeping this as cheap as possible too, for those of us that need to keep it cheap, and I just wanted to mention again that my yard will be available for some tents.  I have a large yard that can accomodate quite a few tents.  It won't be as nice as the state campground, but the price is right. :)

I know, isn't that great!  When I was looking at their site before posting, I read that to my wife.  We are big time pet lovers. :)

any farther than that no way, a sportster seat is too hard.

Lol, then you should go back to a Wing man.  Why have a bike you don't want to ride? ;)

As far as it being in Port Orchard, that's just the suggested gathering spot.  A fair amount of the time will be spent riding the wonderful areas of Western WA, like Hood Canal, Mt. Rainier, Mt. Saint Helens, etc. :action:

Heck, i am looking for a new seat, just got myself the bike last July-25th for my 9 year sobriety birthday. that badlander seat though is horrid on my butt. rode to everett, out to monroe then back here to Kent one day and i only started hurting on 405 southbound.

I love it, just want a little more cushion is all.

Price was right so i got it, $3995 with 0 miles on a fresh topend at Downtown Harley.

Congratulations Ran.I have 24 coming up in Jan.:clapper::clapper::clapper::cooldevil::cooldevil::cooldevil::cooldevil:

Hey!  Hey!  Hey!

I'm interested, as long as it takes place early enough to allow Red and I to get across the prairies to Nassir 3!

Hey! Hey! Hey!

Hey Bud....you're not paying attention! :D

It's looking like the end of the first or second week, in August, which keeps it separated by nearly a month from NASSIR3, and your New England/Maritime Provinces tour.

It'll be a long weekend, for some, and a short high speed weekend, for me. All YOU two have to do is come over, either Friday night or Saturday morning, pitch your pup-tent in John's yard, go yap yap yap and ride ride ride, and go home on Sunday afternoon!

I'm plotting (slowly) with John, to plan a ride on Sunday that would drop you two back in Ellensburg on Sunday afternoon, and me, on the I-5 corridor, southbound, by early evening....help in "plotting" is appreciated!

If you get to that stage and need gas/petrol money, please hit me up- I'll send you a couple of "Andrew Jacksons" and you'll be good! I've been told that...if you two DON'T show up, we'll just have to hunt you down, and kill ya...no big deal. :cooldevil::D

How much mana will it take to reserve a spot for me?  Preferably close to the boys tree...:D

Yes, the Westwyn is about 3.5 miles.  The Comfort Inn is around 7 I believe.  I do have plenty of trees though.  This is a satellite view of our 2.2 acres.  As you can see, finding a tree is not a big problem. :D

In that view, the yard is partially obscured by tree shadows.  Heres a view of part of the back yard grass.

Slight correction Bud, we're tenatively planning on riding on Friday too, for those that can be here, and CJ & Red have no excuse since CJ is a freeloafer retired guy, and Red will be on Summer break, so they should be here Thursday night or Friday morning. ;)  The rest is probably true though, especially the "hunt ya down and kill ya" part. :cooldevil:
