Thanks guys. :)  I know I'll miss my Mom but I also know she is much better off now, so I'm happy for her.  I lost my Dad in '86, so I'm already familiar with the days and years following that.

I'm right there with ya on the pink shirt Henry.  You got me by an inch in height but I'm neck-in-neck with ya in the weight category, and I'm sure nobody wants to see me in pink. :cheeky1::cheeky1:

Sounds great. Since I live right here so it's a short commute. Would also prefer a local lawn to camp on such as Jluvs2dive offered-up......

Whatever the number is, add one more, as I should be able to make it.  Should even have the GL1200 finished by then!

I guess just a little north but mostly east.. We're planing to go on up to Burlington and into Canada at Mission.. To Osoyoos, Revelstoke, Lake Louis, Lundbreck, Waterton and and into USA at Kalispell Mt.. Across MT to Cabinet ID above Coeur D' Alene, down to Asotin WA.. We'll take Rattlesnake Pass back to John Day OR, Klamath Falls, Weed CA  and Home.. Just wondering if anyone was going in that direction

I'll leave Alaska to the politicians........

Its the first weekend in August. I suppose its sorta buried in the thread by now... good suggestion on the info...

I might see what I can do about that...

As for me, being out of work, trying to figger out where the money comes from for the trip was something I needed to do. It wont take much, but every .02 counts.

I've started throwing my silver into a jug. Its already at $28 bucks... Since the wee gets around 60mpg, it wont take much to do this... I cant wait!

Thanks Jluvs2dive. My wife and I will be on a trip to Florida in July. If we're back in time, we'll definitely try to make it. Will probably ride my old CB750 though for a change of pace after 7,000 miles or so on the goldwing.
