LOL, is that going to be a 4 day weekend???? If Amy is back at school at that time, we would have to be able to make it on a holiday weekend or something similar since we will be on the road about 6-7 hours to get there.

Of course please don't schedule around us for sure, but there may be others in a similar circumstances. Can we see if we can do it on a weekend where the Friday or the Monday would be an off day for the schools? That way we could drive up when she gets out of school and not be so rushed to get back. Just thinking out loud.

Will check and see when it gets a little closer to that time. Don't know if Amy will be back at work or not and if not, things may get tight around here for sure on only my income.

Hopefully we will be able to make it, then again, it may just be me this time.

Jeff

As far as I can tell, the Rudys are staying at the Days Inn listed above out on the highway.
But I haven't heard anything about lodging from anyone else yet.

I plan to have your GL1000 loaner seat with me. :waving:

Was thinking somewhere down near you and then let someone who knows (or cares) which way to go after that.

I can do Dublin or meet out at the highway near Swainsboro...  I'm flexible about it.

Don't think I'm gonna want to do the whole 8 hours on I-75, even though that would be the most direct and fastest route.

Any ideas?

Maybe go down to Perry and then cut into the weeds...

Mike likes the scenery on US17 so maybe that?  :?

Short answer is no, I got no idea what I'm doing or where I'm going or why.

You ain't working?

Hey Wayne... Highway 1 from your area looks pretty good till Jacksonville.

Then we could take the perimeter around to 95 to finish the run.  Or we could stay on 1 all the way and then swing back out to 95 at the end.

Hows that?

Or we could meet at the crapper barrel for lunch in East Dublin, head south from there and connect to 1 from the 'Technology Corridor'.

Just booked at the Days Inn West (aka interstate) for 9th and 10th.
$59 per night.  Not bad at all.

Don't think that includes taxes or the dog. :action:

Got the shocks ordered over the weekend. Left Anaheim CA this morning!!!

New Tach cable on the way...tired of the noisy old one!!!

Forkbrace worked wonders!!!!!!! Now the back tire feels like its connected to the front tire!!! Me and the copilot managed to get a 150 miler in the other day and worked out some of our jitters!:D

Any date works for us! Our schedules are pretty flexible unless something unforseen pops up! Our only snag will be the fundage... $300 for the shocks put a kink in our trip money.:( If all else fails I should be able to meet up with everyone for the ride down.:action:

Don't know how many coming but I just got some new orders from the boss.

She wants to stay over someplace near you on Thursday night so the run isn't so long for her and the dog on Friday to FL.  We need to take a lot of breaks for the dog along the way.

So I booked a room at the Swainsboro Best Western for Thursday the 8th.  That will take care of any lunch meetup point problems.

Just wondering what time those near you might get down your way Friday morning if they want to gang ride it from Swainsboro with us. :?  :waving:

Amy won't be going back to work until April, so I won't know for sure until she finds out if folks will be donating enough days to cover her for a while. She has January covered now, just have to wait and see. Maybe the taxes will be enough to cover us, but just have to wait til it's a little closer to say if we can be there. I hope everyone has a very safe trip down and back though!!!!

I may have to just catch you guys on the next one.

Jeff
