So far April 9-11 sounds good to me.  I'll talk to the boss and see if she is in.

It would have surprised me if you were able to make it this soon.

No worries bro, we can get with you on the next one.  I'll post the pix for you when we get back.

Sorry about the difficulties in the recovery.  I was out for over 6 months just from a leg trauma wound nothing even broken.  Treat it as more time to tweak the bike.  That always gets me through it.

Spring or fall most likely.  Gotta get the oiled lady up for it first.

As of right now looks like my Block Leave is the 1st thru the 15th, so I'd say I'm in. This will be my last good ride before heading to the wonderful scenic mountious area called Afghanistan. I just hope the charging issue (or worry) is good for the ride. I'll ask the boss, but if she don't want to go, she can kiss my bass. Anyone interested, we could do a link up near Hinesville. Tim or Larry if you have an Idea of link up let me know

Well the Sh** just hit the fan!!  When planning the #7 ride, I purposely made dates that I would have to use vacation to go.  At our facility this year, we are on an abbreviated schedule (run 3 months, down 3 months, etc.)  and while we are running, we are short 1 person per shift.  So the mandatory OT coverage is gonna be through the roof (I will work AT LEAST one day of my off days) during that period of production.  Hence the vacation strategy!

Just received word today that during our production runs...NO VACATION!  They want us to take our vacation during the down periods.  If you must take off, it has to be on a swap basis (you find someone on another shift that will swap work days with you).

SOOOOOooooo.....it looks like y'all will be making this trip without us :X.  Have fun...take pictures and share your stories!!  On an upside...the money will be good!!:action:

Don't feel too bad Snorey...  I just got word from Mrs.Rudy that she is not interested in riding that far that early in the season.  She's tired of riding in the cooler/cold weather and now that Fletcher is coming, she would like to make it later... much later.  Like we did it originally in early May, somewhere around Memorial day.

I guess you guys down closer to that area are going to have to take the reins this time or postpone it for us to make it.  Or better yet, do both.

Let me know what you want to do so I can put it up on the page.  I have it as undefined right now.

Sorry guys and gals.

At least you get paid for your pain, Snorey.

No, but he finally got all the snow eaten, so we can go back to working on it again. :cooldevil:
Think I might try to make him one out of half a walnut shell.  :cheeky1::cheeky1:
