I hope it doesn't get that warm. I'm leaving for Virginia on saturday for a week and then to St. Louis for a couple of days. I don't want any riding weather when I am gone. :action:

Olive got up at 5am to take her to surgery + waited, of course... she needed a ride home. She spoke with DR, now is time for much rest for Roadrunner.

Maybe Pipe will give us an 'official' update, soon.

In the meantime we keep RR in our prayers. Pipe too, this is super difficult for him ... even if he is reluctant to admit it.

Tough times, but much family!!!

We are FAMILY, just call if you need ANYTHING!!

Okay, I finally got a chance to sit down at the computer for a while. Linda is doing as well as can be expected. She came thru the surgery okay. They repaired a torn retina and put in an air bubble that holds the repair in place so it will heal. However, she has to keep face down as much as possible for 3 or 4 days to keep the bubble in place. Thats probably harder on her than anything right know. She can't do much of anything for a while other than rest, rest, and more rest. She goes back in the morning for a follow-up and to get the patch over her eye removed. Hopefully everything will be okay. She has to go in next week ( I think ) for an iron infusion which will hopefully help get her energy back up to par.

A very special THANK YOU to Olive Oyl for getting up so early and being with her today.

Good new pipewrench and thank you for the update. We are all pulling for her and you included. These types of health events really take it out of you. You are both amazing people! Better friends all of us have never had. As always, I remain at your disposal of needed.

And Popeye and Oyl have also been true friends and pure Rhino's all the way. Its rare you come across such unselfish friends who you can count on.

From N GA we continue to keep the fingers and toe's crossed for steady good progress. And if the weather ever lets up I'll be headed up that way.
