Well, saw the surgeon today about my bypass. All is going well. I get to go back to work on the 5th. But, the big thing for me, is they don't want me getting on the bike, any of them for another month minimum! That's horrible! I'm not supposed to lift anything over 25 pounds till the middle of May! That's sure going to put a crimp in my riding this year! Oh well, I'm alive and doing well. I'm still hoping to get out to the Rhino Romp for a day ride. I have to go out to Geneseo, KS to set up a headstone for my folks, and want to have that all set up by Memorial Day weekend.

Happy Birthday Unkle Mark! :applause::applause::applause:

Larry C, I do know what you are going through as Pop Fly went through quadruple bypass during NASSIR 2 last year. It took him about three months to get back on the trike but he feels great now. Keep the faith.....it will get better my friend! ;)

Larry C, It's very good to hear you are doing well!!! :clapper:

It seems strange how the doctors send you back to work & stress, but don't think you should be relaxing on the bike.

Maybe too much fresh air and sunshine is not good for you now? :stumped:

OK, LarryC, been there done that. When I had mine done 4 years ago the Dr said the same thing. Not more than 25 lbs for the first two months. I started working out using some weights and at two months was at a comfortable 50. At 90 days I did a 5000 mile motorcycle tour. Do your work outs and walking and you can kick butt in three months. But work up too it. Start with 15 lbs reps and work up adding a few lbs every week. Slow and steady. My doc was pleased and had no problem with the motorcyle ridding after two months as long as I dropped it if needed instead of holding it up:cheeky1: . Up up and away Superman, you got no problems. :action: OH, and don't forget to take your meds.;)
