Sorry about the delay in answering ya Cyote....But just to prove my point about the weather....The wife and I decided one Saturday morning to ride the old Suzuki up to Conroe, Texas to visit this Time Share place...We had won according to our invite, a brand new Cadillac car !!!!!!....We left the house at 7 AM headed to Conroe  (75 miles away)...Got there the sun was shining, temp was a balmy 74 degrees.....Made the tour of their property, we won a Grand Father clock!!!!!Of course you had to assembly it....Took some bungee cords strapped it on the bike, and away we went....Rode up to I-45 South and looked up North and then it dawned on me that we were in for some really really nasty weather....Huge black clouds headed our way fast....We made it into a Kroger store before the storm hit.....We didn't even have a jacket with us....In that store they had some Wrangler lined blue jean jackets on 1/2 price sale....Bought one for me and the wife, and our two sons...Trash bags for our feet and hands, found a couple of El cheapo rain suits.....By the time we got finished shopping and back to the bike the temps had dropped over 30 degrees.....Rain mixed with sleet, now tell me this was great riding weather....:cheeky1:....We took our time getting back home, stopped twice for coffee and hot chocolate, after we got home we watched a severe weather forecast on the TV, we seen that it was  coming a light snow in Conroe..........Sunday was colder than a well diggers fanny....Monday???? back in the low 70's....Yeah Texas weather can be a bummer at times....:cheeky1::cheeky1::cheeky1:....But like I said, I have, even if I don't get to make it, Ordered great riding weather for the Llano M&G.......

Well Bill, since we are hearing tornader watch talk here this morning we ain't ridden. Whats sicker yet, its damn near 60 right now at 10AM. However, the wind has roared for 24 hours and today its getting even worse. First line of storms in about an hour out and its starting to sprinkle now. Me thinks its going to get ooooooougly before the day is done. :X

AS the real saying goes;don't like the weather on this side of the street cross with care. In Houston I'm hearing they have a new street that is 12 lanes wide with very little traffic[I10 on west side].

I live off of I-10 .... there is ALWAYS traffic...... even at 1am .....

I may have a couple of friends riding up with me ... they are kinda unsure if they want to go or not. Probably be a last minute decision ....LOL

Talked to Planemech last Sunday and he suggested we set up for a cookout while we are at the meeting. Saturday afternoon might be the best time for it. We will need someone to bring a pit if you have one available and a means to bring it.

I am going to bring about 48 links of boudain[frozen].Got a favorite you want to bring ,do it.

All are welcome to the meet and greet, even if they wear thongs externally! No! We do not have a show and tell program unless you are old enough[and want to]!

Used to live in Houston, thanking goodness I do not have to anymore!
