Yes Goldwings are for us older floks( that is in years, not in heart) I'm in # 12. We have the need for stupd speed out of our sys and wish to have a nice soft  ride for the miles as we roll on. I am 75 - 76 April 26th and riding a mint condition all dressed out 1988 GL 1500 SE with only 69K miles on it. Next year, in Arizona, it qualifies as a Historic Vehicle and I will get the special Historic Vehicle license plate and take pride in riding it, (read - showing off)

Any of you young folks out there, if you have kids, buy the extended warranty! That standard 50 year warranty is not enough. My wife and I are mid 50's, she has blood clot issues and has to give herself daily blood thinner injections. She also has hip trouble, and is unable to ride on my bike because of those issues for more than a very short time. Me, I had my appendix go bad, and then they found out I had stage 4 cancer. they have it in remission, but there is no cure, so now we look for it to come back and we will just have to kick its ass again, and keep that up till I die of old age I hope! Anyway, buy that extended warranty! Tom

Age is a time line, Earth is 150 million plus, Pyramids in Egypt go back 10/15 k years. point being what's age got to do with having fun. I turn 70, I think, next spring. If you don't mind, it really don't matter, kick back, enjoy each day, tell the rest to kiss your grits. By this time you're too old to care what any0ne thinks of your actions. so have fun enjoy, there is no rerun. coneger

Well, I forgot to get on here and update myself. 70 years young just 4 weeks back now. 3rd childhood in full swing now. Even going to go look at a sidecar rig. What? me? nah, I said I would never ride one of them things.
