It's at the lower end of a large lake in a region a handful of large lakes, that is pretty well known now for lots of wineries. In one sction of this park, you have to descend some steps in a spiral tunnel, blasted out of the rock  and come out underneath one of the falls ...

Wow, that is beautiful. However it is in an area that I have only visited by flying in to do work and flying back out. Not sure where it is but it is going on my list of places to visit!! Henry

Still stumped?? It's near an International Racetrack, that has seen better days, but has recently been making a come back and it goes by the same name!

You can either access this part of the park from the campground .... or from the end of this little oasis, directly from the main street of this small town, which also goes by the same name. You mentioned a international racetrack and that made it to easy to google. I found similar pictures to yours online via google. I will definitely put this place on my to visit list!!! I figured googleing it wasn't fair and didn't want to spoil the fun. How far along the waterway can you walk?? From Google Maps it looks like the park starts right near the edge of town and continues along the waterway. I'd give you odds that a lot of the people who live there don't know what a beautiful place they have right behind their homes!! Wonderful!!

Henry .... I'd say it's a good 1 1/2 miles if you start at the western end, which is the high point and follow it down into town. The walkway dumps you out into a parking lot. While you have to pay for parking in the lot, (very limited 'on street' parking) there is no actual entrance fee, to enter the Glen from there. Camping cost me $22/night (no electric) last time I camped there, in Oct 2008 I love the spot and have been going/camping there since I had my 1975 GL1000 .... 1977/78 Here's some more photos of 'The Glen' - http://www.flickr.com/photos/dusty-boots/sets/72157625743436839/
