So last night I bought a game for my Xbox360. And i just finished beating the game. As in played all the way through and now it's done. The Game is called RAGE. You have to move around in this post apocalyptic world killing mutants and bandits and droids.

Everything from 5 foot tall little snarling nasty knife wielding mutants, to dune buggy driving, machine gun shooting bandits, to 7 foot tall five gallon loogie spitting fly swarming mutants, to 7 story tall giant mutants who through chunks of a parking garage at you.

All in all one of my favorite games for the Xbox360 so far.

Don't have an X box.

Probably would frustrate me.

Did just order a TV antenna and if it works as planned I will save $60.00 a month by not having to pay for cable.:waving:

Glad you enjoyed the game!!!!:waving:

So what happens when you beat the game? Does it self destruct?

When you beat the game, it's just like the end of a movie. they roll credits.

Well, if you want my advice, don't get the Xbox360. The cooling fans int he damn thing sound like a friggin jet engine sitting in your living room. Plus there's an additional 60 bucks a year to play online which they'll want to do.

And with the Wii there is the risk of a controller flying into the tv. The games for the Playstation3 are a little more expensive but if you buy them used (like I do) it's not so bad. There is a subscription service for playing online with the Playstation3 too, but with Playstation you don't really need the online play.

They can all go online for web browsing and Netflix, and probably more. The Wii has built in WiFi. Not sure if the PlayStation3 does. The Xbox360 does not, you need an adapter. I don't know how much the adapter costs, I found mine in some stuff the old neighbor downstairs left behind when he moved out.

The wireless controllers are expensive but they are very nice for not having cords across the room, and they seem to last a little longer.

Which ever way you go Gamestop is going to be your friend. Everything from the game systems themselves to the games, accessories, controlers you name it they have it and at great prices if you don't mind buying used and refurbished. And they warranty everything, not for very long on some things but the price is way better than anywhere else. Plus if you get one of their cards you build up points that get you discounts and deals.

I've played super mario brothers a couple of times about 20 years ago.
That's my video game playing experience.

:applause::applause:

That is pretty darn good to beat the game in one night.. lol

I stayed away from video games all of my life until 8 years ago when I met my Ex and her two boys got me hooked on PS3 games.. Even though I am single again, I have my PS3 and love it.

Yep, PS3 has WiFi capability and does not need the hardwire to get online with it and the cooling fans are not too loud either.

Smart move,  I have been watching OTA TV digital for the past several years.  I am in a sweet spot for TV viewing, receiving from Toronto, Buffalo, Erie, London ON.  of course some channels are duplicate, I don't watch sports or need specialty channels.

Here's a forum if you need help
