Great news Mohawk!

Doctors don't know everything. My grandaddy always said he knew more old drunks than he did old doctors!

Best wishes for continued success.

God bless you and your wife. Prayers offered up on your behalf. God is a Healer. It is His nature to heal. He has revealed Himself as "I am the Lord Who Heals" (Exodus 15:26). Blessings to you and yours...

When ever I see stories about cancer it's hard for me to respond and know what words I can say to help some one ease their pain. I lost my Father over 20 years ago to a very fast acting blood cancer and it's hard to read or hear others stories about cancer.

I wish for her and you continued success in beating the doctors predictions. I pray the good Lord will continue to bless both of you as it is his strength through you that helps her to continue forward in her battle.

Knee down to the Lord in prayer and lay all your problems at his feet, and he will lift them from your shoulders and take the weight of them upon his self. Give glory to God for her continued health and life and he will lighten your burdens.

I'm a very strong believer in the power of prayer as God has taken my burdens upon his self many times in the past years during my battle with my heart problems. I truly believed at one time I wouldn't live long enough to see my youngest son graduate from high school, now I know I will as I placed it all before God Almighty and he said it would be so.

Sue and I are both overwhelmed with the response on this.

Being that I usually lurk on the tech page, I never stray far from there and I forget how many members spend time in other areas.

I never thought so many people would see this post at all.

I first posted back in March of 2008 to explain my absences.

It's now been over 18 months and that's why I posted the update.

I too surprised Sue with her dream car and she is still very happy with it and can't find a thing wrong with it.
I just leased it as I figured it would sit in the driveway until I had to turn it in.

Now I tease her about having to get her a new car when this lease runs out.  Grin.

Thanks for all the support and well wishes everyone.

Your Pals

Mohawk and Sue

Mohawk, I have to admit to something. I never saw the original post when you first made it, don't know why. So I'm glad to see you did an update to it that brought it back to the first page and my attention.

Figured it out, I joined the forum last May, you made the first post in March so it was off the front page by then.

Deepest sympathies from Missouri.
As one who has lost well over a dozen family members to various forms of cancer, I can truly empathize with your situation.
As many have already said, there is tragically little we can do over the virtual world, but our positive thoughts are with you and your wife.

May you find peace.

Bagmaster said it really well.

"I wish for her and you continued success in beating the doctors predictions. I pray the good Lord will continue to bless both of you as it is his strength through you that helps her to continue forward in her battle."

I have wanted to say something for two days but couldn't find the words.  My heart goes out to you both.

Mohawk, I sincerely hope that you have to renew that lease on Sue's car till both of you are so old they won't renew your driver's permit and you spend the next ten years griping about the injustice of the treaty that took your right to drive. Prayers and best wishes from Waco:waving: Keno
