Spoke to Ann, Dennis' wife tonight, unfortunately Dennis was not well enough for a chat. Having returned home, he is still plagued with these angina attacks throughout the days. He has lost a fair amount of weight whilst in hospital and Ann has now got to get him back on track with eating and gaining weight. She is hoping tht they will be able to get away in the new motorhome in a few weeks time.
I am hoping that we will hear from Dennis in due course.
Our continued good wishes go out to him.

Hello Dennis;
Sorry to have been quiet on your thread of late. Just got terribly involved with my own problems here which are resolving sort of.
Wishing you the best old boy. Mardonna and I are pulling for you big time. Keep your chin up and we soon should be hearing about you running up and down the streets.

Dennisthemenace and Ann, you don't know me, but I will have prayers for you both.
I had angina and heart attacks 3 years ago and went on oral chelation. IV chelation is also available (here in the US). It treats the cause of angina and heart attacks. It disolves the plak buildup throught the circulatory system. IV chelation is faster, but costs more. I am very physically active without any heart attacks or angina. The doctors won't tell you about it because they don't make any money like bypass surgery. Also, supplements; Co Q 10, D Ribose, L-Carnitine, and magnesium all help rebuild damaged heart muscles (Stephen T. Sinatra. M.D., F.A.C.C......The Sinatra Solution.......Metabolic Cardiology.......his book).
God Bless You Both,
Ivan

Update.... had a good long chat with Dennis tonight, he is feeling a little better in himself and is gaining some strength after his recent ordeal in the hospital. He was back in again the day after I last reported he had come out, with another Angina attack, but was released in the early hours of next day.
He is fully intending to come back on the site soon, but has had a lot to deal with and not least with preparing the new "tin tent" in anticipation of a trip away in it at the end of May.
There have been many things to buy, including colour co ordinated soft furnish ings that the Lady Monkton has requested. Matching towels to cover the matching sun loungers and BBQ that plugs into the van gas etc etc.
When I phoned, he was definately a desperate man as he had succumbed to reading instruction manuals on some of the high tech equipment. Now I ask you.... when did you last hear of a bloke resorting to reading instruction manuals!!!!
I can't wait to see this fantastic motorhome of theirs, it sounds like the Ritz hotel on wheels.... only the beest for the Lady Monkton and Mr Menace.
Let's hope he is soon back posting his Victor Meldrew style musings before too long as his friends on here miss his eloquence I am sure.

Update,
I rang Dennis last evening and had a good chat with himhe was pretty chipper considering. He has a lot to think about at the moment so it might be a while before he gets back to us on here. I picked the bones out of some of the posts and read some out to him and he appreciated all the kind words.
Thank you Ivan, for the direct info on drugs and what have you that may help relieve some of his suffering. I passed it all on and he will look in at some time and at least extract that and peruse the info.
Please continue to keep Dennis in your thoughts and prayers.

I have no excuse, other than the weather's been REALLY nice and I've been on the bike every minute I'm not working. In fact, I actually rode 350 miles on Thursday on company business! Nothing better than putting your Goldwing fuel on the company card!

Update.... phoned Dennis last night, he was in cheerful mood and reported that he has had good and bad days, and is continuing with life as best he can. The house is having some cosmetic work done on it at the moment, which is keeping both of them pre occupied and they are still preparing the Tin Tent, in readiness for a proposed trip up towards Norfolk towards the end of the month, though time frames may change.
The good Lady Monkton is trying to get the dog, Fred, trained a bit, but it sounds as though he is a bit of a law unto himself and I suspect the word "sit!!!!" still means he bounces around like a kangaroo!!! Some slightly more successful training is due to come in the form of the Lady Monkton being shown how to drive the new Tin Tent. Apparently the garage owner who sold them the camper van, is kindly going to come out to take ann for lessons. I will try and find out dates that Ann will be on the road around the Ramsgate area, in the 28' monstrosity, so that members here can avoid the area!!!!!
So, whilst I can't come here and report any miraculous change in Dennis' health, I am pleased to say that he is still in remarkably good spirits and determined to carry on regardless.
I look forward to the day that he feels able to return to the forums and bless us with his dry wit and informative contributions.

Many thanks Mr. Diplomat for keeping us informed as to the Menaces health, we all look forward to the day that he is fit and well enough to return here and start posting again and keeping certain people in control,
Whilst Fred is being trained they must ensure that he understands the difference between sit and s*it, otherwise the new Tin Tent will have and odour of its own...
