Well of course Zoe exists, she's an English lady living in Blackpool who wants to get a thingy and do stuff with Redwingy. So she exists on some plane of existence, but not necessarily the same plane of existence as say, Hilary Clinton.
The Zoe that exists in my frame of reference is fiftyish, kind of angular with salt and pepper hair and is perhaps just a wee bit desperate. She's widowed, living on a fixed income and probably keeps cats.
But now, if by existence you mean could you find Zoe, walk up to her and grab a handful of her not very prominent t$%s, then I think you would be dissappointed. Not by the t$%s1 but by the fact that they don't exist in the same plane of existence as your hand.
1 Given the correct frame of reference, they would most likely dissappoint as well.
Sure, crush my dreams. I had a perfectly good fantasy of Zoe and you've destroyed it. 
I'll just go back to my corner and mope....

Zoe lives in another plane ????? Bummer and here I was about to visit the Aran Islands, to see if I could see for my self what Zoe looks like. To me Zoe is that one woman that we all at one time or another dreamed of meeting, Feminine, with a voice that would cause ships to run ashore, looks thats would leave you breathless, and cause you to studder like a 12 year old on his first encounter with his first love, A woman who will make your knees tremble in her presents and your mouth go dry trying to find the right words, and a figure that would make most women die of envy for..... But now your telling me that shes 50 something and nothing but a dream ???? OH how cruel we can be........
Then to top it off you insist that Redwing is not real or even who he says he is ?????? Come on give me a break.......

But Claude, the whole point is that Zoe can be whatever you want, if you'd like her 20 years old and unable to rest her elbows on the wall, then that's who she is.
