As you dream and make plans for your next trip over, here's hoping you have a great birthday today and don't have to work too hard!!!
If you are really lucky, I might even get the chance to dust the bike off for you tonight, sort of a birthday wash so to speak. She probably deserves it, since you are more into riding than polishing her!!!

MC Pete, have a great day and don't spend it lying face down in an Irish puddle.

Hello to all!
Silverfox- you DO know me, far too well!!! Darn! Yes, I tend to "dust" the bike by going really fast! I DO wash her....well, 5 square centimetres at a time, with spit and whatever shirt I'm wearing....one must insure that those "pass stickers" affix themselves properly! Speaking of which....I need 2 or 3 more (I have one that I didn't put on) to cover up last summers boo-boo, right? I'm dreaming of a "Wales sticker" that looks like Miss tanygaer's Dragon helmet....they must have 'em, since every Yank who visits Wales must immediately covet one?
To Everyone-
I had a thoroughly WONDERFUL day-
1) My Mum woke me up with a phone call at 0630, to wish me a happy birthday...it was lovely, BUT I think it may have been payback- I believe I kept her "up all night", as I was born at 0415 (sorry, mum!)
2) I worked a full day, and didn't get fired....well done, me!
So, I have a few more litres of "petrol" paid for; I only need, say, 500 litres this summer?
3) We are having a sudden "heat wave", and we are mostly loving it. It was 98F here today (about 38C?) which broke the record by 8F....we had a nice breeze, and it was dry, with a blazing blue sky, so....my "rust" is dissolving, ("Oregonians...we don't tan, we rust"is the State motto) and like a well-oiled tin man, I'm beginning to move, again. So, no remaining puddles, Paul...I'm safe for now.....?
4) I avoided 12-14 hour International flights, and managed to remain fully awake, all day long (that was for you, Wannabe! )
Lots more good stuff happened, but....I just want say-
Thanks mates!
I really do appreciate it, and, while I've found several useful motorcycle websites, none of them have the incredibly high-caliber people this site does- the kind who become and remain, the best of friends, all over the World. We are all embassadors of genuine good will, and I try to live up to your high standard.
