Seems like this is happening more often late at night here on the east coast. All of a sudden the pages don't want to load, wait 5 minutes and it's like nothing had ever happened.

I ran into that myself last night. Got a server message that it had too many connections. I thought the server move was suppose to prevent that.

| Same here. I was some disapointed. There are no pictures to load to speak of and you would think that with mostly just text they would load instantly???

| I have brought this thread to the attention of wingnut, I know that there are back ups of the site and the database scheduled for certain times which could cause speed issues.

| Okay, Jim tells me that the daily forum backup takes place at midnight EDT and it takes between 30 and 60 minutes. We can expect the forum to run slower during that time.

| Update, the forum backup has just been changed to 0600 EST. I think Jim at Ultra forgot last week.
