If you want to fly an American flag in Minnesota it must be made in the good ol' USA.

Good law.:clapper::clapper: Do other states have this too?:baffled:

Good stuff. I'm getting a little sick of everything being made in the Pacific rim. Certain items, the flag for one, should be home made.

Just hope they send the right one! This flag flew over a Texas county courthouse nearly all day until a passerby pointed it out that it was not our State flag.....

Hmmmm, well here is a good flag to have around.
It'll be on the left side and the USA flag will be on the right side.

I like the sentiment, but I doubt it would be constitutional.

I think it's a stupid law.:whip::whip: It isn't where it's made it's what it represents. Typically dumb crap. I suppose they don't realize they can't control online sales in Minnesota?

Maybe not... Good thing about here in the USA is that you can have your opinion and I get mine, so I think it's a good law. VERY, very hard, if not impossible to enforce though. But I'll take the "made in the USA" any day.

Maybe we could make China our 51'st state?:baffled::cheeky1:

You're also proving my point. There are fewer things that cause people to lose respect for law than having a bunch of unenforceable ones.

I fear the day, but we might as well get used to it, in the not so distance future, countrys will only be names on a map.

I wish we could bet back to "buy American" but the trouble is the there aren't that many real American companies.

Most of us wont live to see the change, but our children and grandchildren might. We are becoming  a coporate country. Off shore money is buying up our businesses and land at a rate that is unprecidented.

Just look at the company, if I remember correctly from Dubai or UAE, that tried to buy up the port operations in the majority of our large ports.

So back to the point.....

Pray to God, while we still can, that before the change comes our government can get it's act together and still show the rest of the world, our beliefs and morals can make this world a better place to live. But we will have to lose the old school thought of "don't do as I do, do as I say!"

Then it won't matter who makes the Flags or maps showing what used to be.

One day, getting ready for a Veteran's Funeral Ceremony, I noticed a little tag in my VFW Honor Guard jacket........

The tag read:  Made In Vietnam

Criminey..... talk about irony..............
