The books are being assembled as orders come in so there are more left. The $12.00 cost covers the shipping so no extra for that.

I hope you all enjoy the cookbook.:waving:

I got mine, and am tickled to death with it. I think the hard vinyl covers are a stroke of genius! Not only will they make the book durable, but in the unlikely event (wink wing nudge nudge) that someone spill something, the cover has that layer for protection! Well Done!

I love the elephant stew recipe. If you all come to my house, guess what I am making!!!!

Got the book today which was a suprise as I didn't know Greg had ordered one.

I think some of the ingredients could be a bit difficult to find here in the UK, I tried the local Zoo for a spare Elephant but they couldn't (or wouldn't) help me, they didn't even have any oven ready ones or boil in the bag either which was a real downer.

:cheeky1:

Can someone explain what the weight of a "stick" of butter is please, its not a term I'm familiar with.:?

Great cookbook, I can't wait for the next edition

Wingdreamer, glad you got the book and hope you enjoy it.

Here is a site that might help with your stick of butter question

http://whatscookingamerica.net/Q-A/BritishEquiv.htm

As for that elephant, you may have to find a suitable replacement. Substitions are acceptable :cheeky1:

Thanks for that, so a stick of butter is 1/4lb.

I did think of substituting for rhino but thought it might be a bit tough :cheeky1:

Our book arrived today, thank you :clapper:

I would like to re-iterate what everyone has said, a very well constructed book, with some very good recipies :clapper:

I too am having trouble finding an elephant to cook, but the worries of that fade to nothing when faced with the challenge of cooking Foxy's dish - jeez I don't know where to start .....:baffled: :cheeky1: :cheeky1:

Thanks LilJack and Angela, for all the work you put in, and to UbarW for the artwork :clapper::clapper:

My ex wife's cooking was so bad you would need meat tenderiser to soften toast.

The cook book would have been wasted on her.
