i was at a place called the mission, donating some clothes for a friend when i fell in love with this beautiful bike.

it was a 1500 goldwing with wood grain trim. i found the man that owned it as he was volunteering his help and we started talking and told me about this site.

and i've been here ever since. and not planning on going to any others.

i love this site, the people, and the goldwings.

thank everyone for being here, for me

I had just bought a GW and ran into some problems with it. Got on the ol puter and Googled up this site. Been here ever since and am not leaving.

Have met several interesting people from here both at Calhoun and whilst in Florida.

Everytime I stop and talk to a Winger anywhere, I mention this site as a wealth of knowledge and expertise to those that may require help.

I love the idea that we are like a big large International family with " Diplomats " and all. I also like the Fancy crests from Over the Pond on the Avatar's

I now have my own fancy Steve Saunders fancy patch in yellow to wear on my vest. Thankyou "Patch".

I have had Goldwings for a long time and had used/read this forum for a couple of years. I do not remember how I found it, probably just be surfing around for info. I was never inclined before to participate in a forum. When I finally did join this forum a mere few months ago, I find I cannot shut up now.:D

I hit upon the site after returning from North Carolina with my '84 Aapy. Bought her on Ebay and when I got back to Panama City Beach I found out that the local Honda dealer would not work on 'Wings over 10 years old.

Came home, hit Google and the rest is history. Like many others before me, I have no idea what I would have done had I not found the forum.

I found a reference to this site on either the GL1800 Riders board or Brian Fenners board, when I was looking for instructions to fit a Utopia backrest to a buddies GL1800. I followed the link to Steve's video clip and decided to look around while I was here.
My first reaction when I seen how big and busy this forum is, was WOW!! The international atmosphere is a definite ++ in my opinion, and the no-commercial advertising is an even bigger +++ for those of us weary of seeing adverts everywhere else we go.

Google and Yahoo search. I looked at a few and this forum had most to offer. A big forum with a lotta help, run by Goldwingers for pleasure and not profit.

I saw a 1981 GL1100 was for sale at the local Honda dealer and started surfing the web looking for information about a used Goldwing.  I Googled “Buying a used Goldwing” and Steve’s website was the first and only site I looked at.

What I found is that there is enough information in this website so that anyone can inspect a used Goldwing and make an intelligent decision if the Goldwing in a wise purchase or not.

I am new to this forum. I have been with GWRRA for quite some time and have been a user on their forum. I found this one during a Google search looking for reviews of Corbin Seats. I really liked what I saw. This site has tons of information. I am looking forward to meeting more folks on this forum.

Thanks,
The Fonz
