I just noted the post, prayers form the family here. What hospital is he in. LA covers thousands of square miles. Perhaps I could swing by and entertain him for a while. Hospitals are the best for boredom. Visitors are always welcome, I remember that well. Just got this from Rick... -- Considering all I'm doing really well. So far I have a bandage sucked to my arm with a vacuum seal-a-meal type thing. Which means I have a hose hanging off my forearm. The muscle is still in good shape as far as I could see. I don't think I'll be out of commission very long if at all once the hose comes off. I'm already walking without trouble so the heart and breathing are good. I'm counting on loosing the hose on Monday when the doc sees me next. Pain? The only time I take anything stronger than Tylenol is when I have a bandage change. I have been reducing that dependency since the first day. Basically whatever the doctors say about my recovery I'll divide in half and be fine

Just got a note from Kelly, they are keeping Rick till Friday. He's doing well enough to tease the nurses, though.
