From the comedy series Blackadder on UK TV. The man servant of the main character is called Baldrick. My boss at work at the time (1980s) was the immage of Blackadder so it naturally followed I was Baldrick

Dusty Boots .... if you've ever seen 'em, you know why the 'handle'. Usually collected from some backpacking trail, or lonely stretch of highway. I used to be a very avid hiker/backpacker,(until my knee fell apart!) and that was the handle I used on a bunch of different hiking/backpacking forums. I just carried it on over to this forum.

From an old sci-fi film called "dark star" , I think it was. Featured a beachball that wiped out the occupants of a spaceship (low budget obviously!) I just liked Pinback's attitude to life

Nickname I picked up at work. First initial of last name and the fact that I'm older than just about everyone else there, I guess.
