That exact same truck is on the main webpage of Alton Truck Company's website.

"One look at the F-450 reveals that this is no ordinary pickup, for it towers over the company’s standard F-150 like an NBA center over a Belmont Stakes jockey. Riding high on unique 19.5-inch wheels in steel or aluminum, and boasting Chicago pizza-sized four-wheel disc brakes and a massive mono-beam front suspension system, the F-450 comes well equipped to pull a Caterpillar into the job site or a trailer-load of hogs out of the bog. In fact, maximum towing capacity is rated at a precocious 24,600 pounds (for a fifth-wheel trailer), more than enough to qualify as real work in any language."

This is some hefty work truck, but that Alton conversion just compounds the waste of a marvelous machine designed as an ultimate work truck to picking up groceries and collecting the kids from school. Pretty sad in my book, just my 2c worth!

The Altons are based on the F-650...and up.

Edit: there are many light haulers (truck drivers) that cross the country pulling fifth-wheels that use this kind of stuff. The fella that runs my bikes uses a customized F-550.

Did you notice the builtin HD TV screen in the back of that thing? Wow! 6 amplifiers in the audio system.

Wonder if my hearing aids would still work after that was turned on?

Sure looks ugly so ugly in fact that it probably wouldn't be stolen!!

Ugly?? Not to my eye. If I could afford one I'd buy it just to rattle the green weenies who can't / won't mind their own business.

Give me liberty or get out of my way!!!!

YUP!
