My dogs have had their chips for 7 years, never had to use it as they never left home. So it's only logical that he be transferred to humans some day. Criminals will still find a way to change them or even put one in themselves to gain something illegally.  It may have some good advantages to think about. I just keep telling my kids I'm going to tatoo their social security numbers on my arm (in bar code) so they can always be found when I can't remember some day. :D Perhaps this would be a better idea :cheeky1::cheeky1:

Who says it has to "be in" the flesh of a criminal. They will just carry a packet of the dern things and program them to sync with the signature of whom ever they knock on the head.

Better yet, knock 'em on the head, cut it out, put it in their little packet and away they go.

The 'good things' can be good. I see this as more invasion of privacy though.

No thanks...that's scary stuff...like a lot of things, it will touted as a "safety" thing.  But in the end, like a lot of cool inventions, it will be used for the wrong reasons...
