Is it just me,,,,, or is the sound in the first vid all distorted??? I wouldn't doubt youtube has somrthing to do with it,,,,, like the way they mute out the music we choose with our vids :X

The sound is distorted because of wind hitting the microphone on the camera. The camera was mounted on the side of my helmet, so the wind noise was pretty bad. I'll have to keep that in mind next time.

I realize that now, after watching all the way through. I was kinda breezing through the forums at first.

Pretty cool,,,, I've wondered about helmet cams. It seems like it is more stable that way without all the jittering. I need a pretty smooth road with my RAM Mount on the bars.

BTW,,,,,,,,, was it your turn to cook dinner,,,,,, you weren't wasting any time getting home,,,,,

Norton,,,,,,,,, your vids on youtube give a message saying the vid has been pulled by the user. Did you pull them,,,,,,,,, and did you find a better site to put them???

Yeah they're gone. I  nuked my whole Youtube account.

I was never happy with the quality so other than here, I didn't even let people know that they were up for viewing.

I still have them but they were only my first and second attempts at making videos.  I know that I can do better. Re-doing them isn't a priority at the moment.

Right now I've been spending much of my time in the shop.  I just built mounts to attach some hard bags to my valkyrie.

Also,  I picked up a real old c100 (50cc. honda cub). I am in the process of tearing the motor apart for a rebuild.

Turned out very well,  (exceptin for that guy on the bike in front of ya!)

I see you got a shot of one of those old Concourse Racing cars we saw, when we did the Silver Thread ride, at the 1:57 mark. :cooler:

Had to get that last photo of the 'Wildlife' in, didn't ya!  :D

Gotta get going on mine, but the " Kids " are keeping me extremely busy.    BTW, mom is back home now and doing prettty good with lots of physio. :hovering:  and Sis is retiring very soon and said she'd 'cover' for me for the 3 weeks in July, so NASSIR  and beyond is a go again.

Here's a couple of pics from this past weekend, unfortunately I was in the truck and not on the bike this time.
However.... they are some long , lonely roads.

Dusty,,,,,, good to hear your Mom is back home doing better.

That bike ahead of me in the vid is what makes the better part of the vid pal,,,;) I never told ya, but it was a blast trying to get shots of you going into the curves. I'd be in the same curve with one hand on the camera and other on the bar. Looking forward to doing it again for sure.

BTW,,,,,,,,, I didn't get a good pic of the moose we saw,,,,,, thus,, the only other pic of wildlife for the vid :smiler:.

Hey Norton,,,,,, those are some great looking roads for the bike,,,,,,where are they???

I know a lot of you have seen this one, but I was asked to put this one up again, because there are a lot of long n lonely stretches in this one
