Most of the kids in hour schools would be written up as they use the term "gay" for the meaning of "lame". They get mad when I ask them if that means they are happy about what ever they are talking about.

We are Doomed! As a society we have went from identifying a problem and finding a solution (Progress) to just looking for things that we can classify as problems. In many cases it is done just to make a person feel better (Superior) about themselves, but in administrations, I believe that it's more about justifying their existance. Let something huge happen to us (Global catastrophy, Invasion, Food shortage, ect..) and all of this petty stuff will fall by the wayside pretty quickly. People will be forced to be more concerned with their own lives and will spend less time being offended with what everbody else is doing.

I guess I would have been thrown in pc prison. I'm all for treating everyone equally (EVERYONE) but where do my rights start? the middle aged white male is the most discrimenated in the usa at least.

Have you noticed all the ads that poke fun at people are now only poking "fun" at ....you guessed it the rest are too easily offended!!! the Asian community actually had the gall to whine about not being included in the Olympic ceremonies????

I have to admit that I've just about given up on our ideas of how society should be. People will go out of their way to protect some pet project of theirs and totally forget the things that are important. We have a very rude awakening coming and it is not going to be pretty. Today while donating platelets I went through their movie list for something I hadn't watched a dozen time or at least not lately,, I chose Apocalypto. I saw a quote at the beginning that really made me think,, A great civilization can not be conquered from the outside, until it has destroyed itself from within. Most don't know how close we really are.
