Thanks. There has been enough donations that the funds borrowed from the budget for the bills will be replaced by Tuesday when the PayPal transfers hit the bank. The bills will not suffer due to this time of sorrow.

Now I'm off to get the oil and filter changed on the car. Got a lot to do today.

Well, now I'm scared to drive this old car to Texas. I got the engine oil and filter changed. The service guy checked and topped off all my other fluids for no extra charge then proceeded to tell me that he was concerned with the4 transmission slippage. It hard shift into gear when cold in the mornings but it's always been that way. Once warmed up it shifts great.

So I took it to Cottmans transmission service and he told me the same thing. Both places told me that if I did have a filter and full fluid change done that I could actually have the transmission go out on the trip, Typical rebuilt cost is 1500 bucks.

So, now I'm gonn check into a rental care from Enterprise, they gave me a great deal on the last trip to Texas when we buired Linda's brother 4 years ago. Wish me luck.

looks like I'm driving the old girl anyways. Local Enterprise office closed at noon and the National office at the airport doesn't take debit cards.
