I got the results of the MRI on my knee.   I have a partial rupture of the Quadricep on my right leg.  It is the muscle holding the quad to the knee.    It usually requires surgery and a cast for 8-12 weeks.   I have an appointment Tuesday to find out what the DR wants to do.    It will be a while before I ride again.

Sorry to hear about that Bob, seems like everyone is going through issues this year. My uncle has to have surgery on his back in May, I'm looking at possible work on m y shoulder and a friend of mine is looking at having surgry on his ankle.

I guess the one bright side may be that after the surgeries we can all enjoy riding with a little more comfort.

When I've been unable to ride, I've logged on to Google Earth and "flown" over the routes that members have posted here on the Forum.  Not the same I know, but still a lot of fun.  When ya tilt the the image and zoom in, the scenery is awesome......just try the Blue Ridge Mountain Route.:waving:

Sorry to hear the news but if something needs fixing, get it done right. It's the best investment in the long run.

it is tough Bob, I know it all too well. But the days of no rides just melts away when you are able to get back in the saddle again.

I just cannot even begin to describe how many decades have melted away from me in the last 3 days. I feel 19 again in spirit. What's age anyway? It is just a matter of mind over matter, and that is all that matters!
