I hope someone can help me locate the company that makes this top for Goldwing bikes. I watched one go up and down the superslab ever day during one winter .

Hi Shane and welcome to the forum from Texas. Maybe someone will be along that has a better idea what you are describing.

Did you get pictures????? That would help. Never heard of one before let alone seen one, like a rag top? Windows as in a cab? There is a bike being introduced in the UK I read in a bike rag last year, anyone seen those as yet, over the big pond?

There used to be one of those running around here. A GL15 I think and I don't remember the sides being closed, just the top.

I don't think you will find any company willing to build and sell such a thing. The liability would be too high. You could build it yourself though.

Anyway, welcome to the forum.

Those came out while the 1500's were in production. They would clip to the windshield and trunk. They were pretty expensive too. I couldn't imagine trying to 'carry' one with strong winds. I think they were in 'Wing World' in the 2000 issues.

Thanks for the quick response . It was canvas and the sides came down to the riders knees . I understand the sail part but he looked mighty comfy on it for it to be in the 30's outside .

Prevent/Repair those cracked 1500 trunk lids by installing a set of Rudy's Lid Reinforcement Panels to the underside of your trunk lid.

Yes, he has bananas. He also has twin deer alerts and leather fringe thingies. And turbo!

But he has no canoe.
