Thanks for the advice and interest, everyone! We've kinda fallen off the edge of the earth like we do sometimes. We drove out to NJ on short notice for a family funeral, now we're out in the car for a few weeks. Probably going up to Maine, then down south before going home. I'll get some pics on here at some point of the new baby. It runs great and I like it a lot, and it's PRETTY. I hated to leave it behind. More later. Wilton

Wilton, I already did that family funeral thing, you didn't have to follow after me. Glad the bike is all you hoped it would be. I sure do like mine.

3 weeks on my new to me. 90 1500. I never was intersted in getting a 1500 loved my dressed 79 1000 and even my 1100 interstate after t removed all that tacky plastic off it and went naked. But I have to admit after a long 8 hr run today I'm feeling pretty good and the 1500 seems like she is ready to turn around and make the run in reverse already!!!!!! I cannot imagine running my 1000 that hard and that long. The 1500 didnt even break a sweat. Well I did it was warm behind that windshile but that was the only complaint Wilf

Hey Wilton, Where's the pics you promised months ago? You fall off the other side now? Did you make it up to Maine? I was up at Bar Harbor for Columbus Day, rode up Cadillac Mtn. Saw some wingers and Harley riders up there that went on a bus, wishing they rode their bikes rather than fly out. It was 80 degrees up there that weekend, had to ride in a tee-shirt! Where's the Pics??????? Mid Nov headed so through W VA. 32 degrees! ![]() Last edited on Tue Feb 7th, 2012 06:17 pm by newday777 ____________________ Stu John 14:6 CMA Wings of Eagles-Escondido CA SAN DIEGO Patriot Guard Ryder 1999 GL1500 SE(@57k) The LORD provided this through a friend's wish to leave it to me I'm blown away!
