i found out you can use a set of harley sporter pipes and put them in front of the rear end and just run pipes out the rear. they fit better for me that way. more room up front. but i've done them both ways. the black one in the pic i put them in the back and they where just too low. had to change it.

The ones up here in ny don't carry them anymore all they have is exhaust tips and they aren't long enough. What I need is something about 16 inches long for both sides and 2 1/4 od.

I got the exhaust on, but will have to extend the pipes at least another foot. also picked up a self sticking rubber floor mat from harbor freight and cut it to fit the floor boards. now I am stuck on how to go about attaching the fenders I got. They were suppose to have backings on them but don't and can't get them that way I was told. Here are some pics, so if anyone has any ideas I am listening.

they do sell them with the backing plate or splash shield at tractor supply, at least they do down here. you can always get you some chrome checker plate bolt it on or just a flat piece of thin sheet metal and weld it to the fender. you can just make you a couple brackets to run from the fenders to your frame.

you can always bolt or strap you a trunk on the back for some storage. they have a nice size plastic black one at wal mart in automotive i almost used once.

and you might want to run more oil than normal in your rear end since it's upside down now. the front bearing may be starved of oil.

well the tractor supply up here don't have 16 inch fenders for 16 inch tires and wheels, Croft trailer supply has the 16 inch tire size fenders without the backing only. so I have started to weld a flat piece of metal on the back side for a backing plate. I am thinking of running 1 inch wide 1/8 inch thick plate steel pieces from the new backing to the rear axle. I have a trunk that came with the bike I am going to use. Also I have the pinion tilted just a little about 3 1/2 degrees downward to help with the oil reaching the front bearing and have figured out just how much oil to put in it. Then I was thinking of making a body and frame to bolt to the frame of the bike. Another words the fenders will go up and down with the rear. Its just a thought, let me know what ya think.

My trike kit came with lights styled after a 1930 Ford. They fit the curve of the fender quite nicely, and are an LED light. The kit is a Triwing. I don't have time to look them up now, leaving for work shortly.
