I decided to take advantage of a warm winter day and go for a day ride.  I went from Charlotte to Saluda, NC and found a nice twistie road.  It was a weird little road but had some good switchbacks.  Not a high speed road at all,  but fun.  Take a look and let me know what you think.  Thanks

That looked like a very good and twisty road and the weather sure looks great there. We are going through a snow storm of 8.5 inches today. Video was great!!

Thanks for sharing.

Fun Video!

Looks like a great time, in a part of the country with which I have not yet had any experience.

Thanks for posting!!

Rick, it was around 65 in Charlotte that day and it only dropped to 61 in the mountains. Today it was around 55 or so. It has been a warm winter here so far. Im not complaining mind you!

Fun video as you did not stay on one type of scene too long.

enjoyed the video. Great curves, but the road was narrow.

Tes it was,  It was weird road,  kinda bizzare and made me a little nervous at first.  I rode it several times to get good footage to edit.  Lonely up there.:sadguy:

Nice road and good job on the video. did you use the camera mounts that came with the camera?. changing the camera angles made the video more enjoyable to watch.

thanks for sharing

Yes. I used a suction cup mount and clip mount. All came with the camera.

You said you had to ride the road several times to get enough film to edit.

Is that really the only reason you rode it more than once?????   lol   There are some of those kind of roads in Arkansas I love to ride.

By the way, great film.

Cool video, here in NY winter hasn't been too cold, I ride straight through winter even snow sometimes, you got to be careful with those slippery roads. Keep riding!

Thanks!  I am a wimp,  I usually wont ride if the high for the day is below 40 or so.  I will start out sometimes in temps in the low 30's or high 20's if it is warming up later in the morning.

:snowman:

Thanks Foodman. I wish I had more time to explore farther from home. But I will have to wait a couple more years before I am retired. Even with that I seem to find places I have never been. Great stress relief!
