Better get your eyes checked. I only saw one turn where the ST braked twice.

Nice video and I am not going to flame you for the tyre or your riding style. Thanks for sharing.

Good video Dookoo!

Easy John, not like you. If you read again what Wilson02 said, it was not that you can lean further with a CT than a standard bike tyre, only that he was impressed that the rider was leaning as much as he did, saying many with a bike tyre wouldn't go that far over. That was not to say that some or many riders with bike tyres wouldn't or couldn't.

You may be right Pete, and if so then I apologize Wilson02 for my misinterpretation.  I'm still not so sure I would agree with it in that context, based on personal observation.  The ST riders I've been around tend to be experienced and decent riders.  Again I apologize if my first interpretation was not what you meant.:waving:

No one here was trying to doing any second guess quarterbacking.. Just curious.. Indeed that stretch of highway is a great ride, nice sweepers all the was to San Simeon.. It's just watching the ST in some turns, it looks like "the rider" has to learn to control the transition from flat to sidewall and back.. It looks a little different than a MT.. The ST being about 200/300 pounds lighter than the wing, I wounder with the CT if that could make a difference in the handling..

By the was your choice for a  lunch stop is great.. The sandwich bar there is wounder..

And as I said your video was great.. I envy you and the others that can make these productions with music and fade ins and outs.. If I could ever figure out how to do them, I'd probably bore you to death.. But as they say it's hard to teach old dogs new tricks..

So smooth out your feathers, there was no disrespect intended...

Just use Windows Movie Maker (free). It pretty much makes a movie all by itself, you just add the music and footage.

One of these days I want to spend some time on that road!  It is on my bucket list.

Thanks for posting!

It just shows that a car tire is not just a tire for a car.  It is a great tire for a motorcycle as well.  As for his weight shift in the curves, advanced training teaches riders that shifting your weight on twisting roads takes less lean angle than staying upright on the bike.  In effect you have more lean angle available if needed.  Great video, very good riding and excellent stability with a car tire on a sport touring bike, at speed on twisting roads.
