I had a Corbin, yes it's hard and will take awhile to get used to it. but I will caution you that if you ride two-up the passenger section is smaller then the stock seat and my wife hated it for that reason. I sold it and bought a Ultimate Seat. I have had this seat for two years and have no complaints. My wife and I can ride all day and not get sore. Check it out: http://www.ultimateseats.ca/

There are some comments about the seats staying wet after being in the rain. I carry a rolled up Sham-Wow absorbing thing, and when it quits raining, set it on the seats and rub on it a bit while removing the raingear, and it really helps dry the seat. I have a velour covered seat- really it is a polyester fabric, and the Sham-wow cloth does pull moisture out.

From all I have read and folks I've spoken with, the Hartco custom seats are the best in that they are custom designed and fabricated from the ground up to the height, weight and inseam of the rider and passenger. 800-446-7772 http://www.hartcoseats.com

I have to cast my vote for HartCo. I had one on my 1800 and will order one soon for my 1500 I just got. I like that it is custom made. I had mine made for 2" further back and 1" higher. They also moved the passenger back 2" so no room was lost there.

In 1980 I installed a seat from Leo's Seats in Simi Valley, Calif. It's been on my Wing for 30 years and still looks as new as the day I bought it. Leo's won the contest in Rider Magazine back then for the best aftermarket seat. Has anyone ever heard of them or know if they are still in business?

I installed the new seat yesterday, I had to make one small aulteration due to the passager area rise near the back just cut out some fome. Went on in about 75 minuntes looks great, it is wider and taller hard as a rock, but only got about 20 miles on as had to get a front tire put on at the dealer, that took 3 hrs. I do have to ajust to it at stop light as it's wider and taller than stock but it dose ride GREAT will have to give it some time to brakin but for $167.00 I think it a good deal! It makes my 83 1100 look better, the stock seat had split at the seam and looked tacky. Now I have to finsh the hony doooo list then do a little test ride this afternoon dame meds. don't let me sleep more than three hrs. oh well I can get more things done. Makes the hony doooo list get done faster!!!
