Hobo is sick of the cold weather. Before he packs his bags and leaves for warmer surroundings, does anyone in the area want to see him off?

I want to see as much of the USA as possible before I head back across the Atlantic for the Welsh Meet n Greet. You need to PM Bigeesteve if you want me to visit you next.

Its getting cold here and I need to either hibernate or go somewhere a bit warmer.

My dear Lady Viking, if you read back through this post, you will find that one of the members very kindly produced a map of the USA with the states I have visited coloured in. He has also agreed to update this when required.

I haven't been too far of late as I have been what you could call a little bit busy - you could call it a mission of mercy even, but that might be stretching things..

Okay folks, I haven't posted for a while and I know one or two of you have been wondering whats going on.

Well, there is a very good reason for me being AWOL: - A have been staying with Bigeesteve for a while and taking in the sights of Gettysberg, Pennsylvania with Steve and his family. Nothing special about that you may say and you may be right.

However, Steve's son Tyler who is 13 recently took a nasty fall from his wheel chair which resulted in a nasty break to his leg. Result, Tyler is shipped off to Hersey Medical centre in Pennsylvania for operations which included having rods inserted into his leg to help his recovery (makes your loose screw look tame by comparison Ms Viking :cheeky1:). Not very pleasant, so I have been sticking around and keeping Tyler company whilst he recovers from his little spill.

Tyler is a great guy and has shown himself to be a brave young man in dealing with what is quite a severe injury. :clapper::clapper:

Please join me in wishing Tyler a speedy recovery and all the best for the future.

Here's a photo of me, Tyler and another guy we met along the way.

I think we can consider tht a perfectly good reason for curtailing your journeys for a while Hobo, a worthy cause indeed.

Young Tyler can compare war wounds with Helen The Viking, has Tyler got an impressive scar? No fun breaking a leg, but at least he does get some extra attention from you Hobo.

What is your other new friend like? He looks like he has been partaking in some of your moonshine sessions with you!!!!:shock:

Hi Tyler

Here is to a quick recovery, dont let that Hobo get all the nice nurses, he is to old for them rather like redwing, you keep all the pretty ones for yourself dont let Hobo or Dad anywhere near them, they'll only cramp your style man.....

Hoping for a speedy recovery young man, and if you have any good pictures of the young gals looking after you keep them to yourself and don't share um with us.....
