Right folks, I have arrived safely at the Fox's lair. He is now busy rushing around sorting out my currency, visas and trying to get reliable directions to Heathrow.
Calhoun, I hope you're ready because we are on the way.

Well that is just typical, WE are running around organising everything for the impending trip and Hobo just sits around doing nothing!!! It is a good thing Helen the Viking is organising it allbecause Hobo would otherwise be going to the wrong airport!!! Obviously my Goldwing beer has clouded his memory, since we are flying fom Gatwick!!!!
Goodness knows what he and Foxy jnr. are getting up to whilst we are out at work and what have you, but the house is a right mess when we get in.
I guess a lot of the time he is watching the site to see if anything is going on and is probably wondering where his next stop over will be.
He ismost excited about doing the Tail of the Dragon from Calhoun, he burbled something about "loving a bit of tail".... whatever that means!!!
The lads playing on the site.....

It is not all play however...here seen helping Helen the Viking with some important County Council work.....

Well, I am back!
In fact, I was never away, but I have been faaarrrrrrrrrrrrr too busy to post on here. What a blast Calhoun was. Great to be there and wonderful to meet everyone. Had some fantastic rides and even got to twist the Dragon's tail. Here I am with Silverfox by the Tree of Shame, whichg I am pleased to say we did not contribute to.
I am not going to discuss contributions to the Sherrif's beer kitty though, far too harsh that sherrif was.
Anuway, I'll let others fill in the details, they all seem a bit sketchy now.
I have continued my travels with Goldwings 4 ever, going further north to new lands. I am now in Canada and looking forward to seeing new sights and meeting new people and tasting new beers.

They relented eventually.......
What I needed after that was to unwind - a good strong coffee Silverfox style and a ride on the open road. Even better when you get to ride the fastest colour.

Nice pics Bob but I think your weather really sucks . You guys are blessed with that kind of weather this time of year. Here I sit wondering if there is one more ride to be had before the snow flies

Yes you do get the crappy stuff a little earlier than we do. This was the first Thanksgiving weekend that I can remember in years that it hasn't rained. I always remember the rain on this weekend because there is a craft show we go to every year on Thanksgiving weekend and I always remember getting wet. By the way, Hobo did enjoy his turkey and cranberries.

What are Hobo's plans for the winter? I'd like to see him next summer and I be pleased to ride him down to NASSIR 2 or out to the Rockies.

He's been eating us out of house and home. He's been getting pretty big lately. Here's a picture of him sitting beside my wing.
